Mayor Bertucelli called the meeting to order at 7=07 p.m.

City Attorney Noonan stated that the City Council had before them at this time the
matter of Parcel Map 46 which was a request of Caesar Callan Homes, Inc., to sub-
divide 131.87 acres on the easterly side of Callan Boulevard, and on the northerly
side of Westborough Boulevard, in Westborough-West Park No. 3. He remarked that the
matter had appeared before the Planning Commission and had been forwarded to the City
Council with a conditional approval.
Discussion then followed concerning the deletion of traffic signals at Gellert Boulevard
and King Drive after which Director of Public Works Louis Goss read to the members of
the City Council his Inter-Office Memorandum dated January 17, 1969 as it concerned
the tentative Parcel ~ap - Westborough-West Park 3.
Discussion then followed during which time mention was made by Mr. Tronoff, Engineer
for Caesar Callafl Homes, Inc., on the matter of King Drive and its relation to the
Building Permit and Agreement.
Councilman Rocca suggested that the Agreement carry the provisions that the liability
would be assumed by the successors ;lm~ interest as well.
City Attorney Noonan explained the contents of the Agreement to the members of the City
Council.
Further discussion followed during which time discussion took place concerning the
development of the area together with the Serramonte Subdivision which was in the City
of Daly City as well as the lowering of the power transmission lines.
After discussion, City Attorney Noonan stated that if Council desired, the following
motion may be adopted, "Move thatthe tentative Parcel Map be approved and that there
be deleted from the Inter-Office Memorandum of the Director of Public Works dated
January 17, 1969, Paragraphs 5 and 6 and that the escrow instructions of the City
contain a provision requiring the developers and the Catholic Archdiocese to sign letters
agreeing to the dedication and improvement of the street between said properties and
that the Director of Public Works be authorized to sign the Map."
Councilman Mammini so moved, seconded by Councilman Steinkamp and regularly carried.
Mr. Robert Maxey, Superintendent of Recreation and Parks, at this time brought to the
attention of the City Councilhis Inter-Office Memorandum dated February 6, 1969 in which
he requested permission in accordance with the recommendation of Yuill-Thornton, Warner
& Livikow, Architects, for the employment of the firm of Grihaldo, Jacobs, Jones &
Associates to perform soils investigation tests at the swimming pool site for a fee of
$880.
Councilman Steinkamp moved, seconded by Councilman Mammini and regularly carried, that the
Superintendent of Recreation and Parks be authorized to issue a Purchase Order and engage
the firm of Gribaldo, Jacobs, Jones & Associates to perform the necessary soils investi-
gation tests for a fee of $880.
There being nothing further, Councilman Rocca moved, seconded by Councilman Mammini
and regularly carried that the meeting be adjourned.
