NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the Government Code of the State of
Calfironia, that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco will hold a
special meeting on Wednesday, March 21, 1973, at 7;30 p.m., in the Council Conference
Room, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, California,
The purpose of the meeting is to consider the following:
I. Appointments to Regional Planning Committee.
2. Appointments to San Mateo Greater Highway Committee.
3. Appointments to Beautification Committee.
4. Appointment to Council District Committee.

Mayor Mammini announced that Councilman Steinkamp had called and
stated he would be delayed.
CALL TO ORDER:- The meeting was called to order by Mayor Mammlni at 7:59 p.m.
ROLL CALL: .... Present: Councilmen Patrick E. Ahern, William A. Borba,
F. Frank Mammini and Warren Steinkamp
DEFERMENT OF
APPO I NTMENTS
UNTIL AFTER
MAY 22, 1973
ELECT I ON:
Mayor Mammini stated that, if there were no objections, the matter
of appointments would be deferred until after the Special Municipal
Election of May 22nd, at which time there would be again a full
Council.
As there were no objections, it was so ordered.
Councilman Borba requested that he be permitted to remain as the
City's representative on the Board of Directors for the San Mateo
County Development Association.

A recess was declared at 7:55 p.m., so that Council could interview
applicants for the City's Beautification Committee.
RECALL TO ORDER: The meeting was recalled to order at 9:00 p.m.

Discussion followed concerning other applications received at which time
Councilman Ahem advised Council of the requests he had received from
people to serve and that they also should be forwarded applications
for completion.

Mr. Wilson then brought to Council's attention appointn~nts to the
Recreation Commission.
Brief discussion followed with no action taken.
Councilman Steinkamp then moved, seconded by Councilman Borba and
regularly carried, that the meeting be adjourned.
Time of adjournment: 9:06 p.m.
