ADJOURNED REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL

Council Conference Room, City Hall.
Mayor Mirri called the meeting to order at 7:10 PM.
Present: Councilmen F. Frank Mammini, Terry J. Mirri,
Leo Padreddii and Warren Steinkamp.
Absent: Councilman Richard A. Battaglia.
Set Priorities for certain projects related to the Community
Development Act of 1974.
The City Manager requested the City Planner to review the
subject matter. The City Planner requested that Council
first review the report. After Council had reviewed the
report, the City Planner explained the subject matter
requesting approval and the introduction of the resolution
authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement.
Councilman Battaglia appeared present at 7:22 PM and remained
for the duration of the meeting.
Discussion followed after which Councilman Steinkamp
introduced a resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH
SAN MATEO COUNTY REGARDING HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ACT APPLICATION.
Roll Call Vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Richard A.
Battaglia, F. Frank Mammini, Terry J. Mirri, Leo Padreddii
and Warren Steinkamp. Noes, none. Absent, none.
Discussion then followed concerning the priority of the
items and the amounts to each priority after which
discussion followed between the City Manager and City
Attorney regarding a motion that these were tentative
priorities and that Council reserved the right to adjust
the priorities. After discussion Councilman Battaglia
moved, seconded by Councilman Steinkamp and regularly
carried that the priorities listed 1 thru 5 are tentative
priorities of the City and the City Council reserves the
right to adjust the priorities as well as the dollar
amounts for each priority.

Staff Report, dated January 22, 1975 recommending the City
Council recess the adjourned meeting, conduct a special
study session, reconvene the adjourned meeting and introduce
the parking ordinance for the second reading and final
adoption.
2nd Reading/Adoption
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, ORDINANCE NO. 353, AS AMENDED
(COMPREHENSIVE PARKING REGULATIONS).
Bill Costanzo, the Zoning Administrator, explained each
of the proposed changes in the ordinance after which lengthy
discussion followed between members of the City Council and
Staff regarding the proposed changes.
Councilman Steinkamp then moved that the ordinance be intro-
duced. Brief discussion followed after which the ordinance
was ordered for placement on the agenda for the regular
Council meeting of February 5, 1975.
In answer to an inquiry of Councilman Padreddii regarding
the recent overflow of sewage at the Sewage Treatment Plant
City Engineer Yee stated he would check this matter and
report to Council.
Mr. Eugene Amato, 780 McDonell Avenue, requested Council
support on Proposition C relative to a school tax increase.
Councilman Mammini so moved, seconded by Councilman
Padreddii. Discussion followed after which Councilman
Mammini withdrew his motion and Councilman Padreddii withdrew
his second.
There being nothing further on motion of Councilman Steinkamp,
seconded by Councilman Battaglia and regularly carried the
meeting was adjourned at 9:42 PM.
