5:30 PM.
Council Conference Room, City Hall.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Battaglia at
5:32 PM.
Present: Councilmen Richard A. Battaglia, F. Frank
Mammini and Warren Steinkamp.
Absent: Councilmen Terry J. Mirri and Leo Padreddii.
Public Hearing -- General Plan Amendment 2-75.
Mayor Battaglia declared the public hearing opened, asking
if there was anyone present who wished to speak on the
matter.
There being no one present to speak Mayor Battaglia declared
the public hearing closed.
Councilmen Mirri and Padreddii appeared present at 5:34 PM
and remained for the duration of the meeting.
Councilman Steinkamp then introduced a resolution entitled:
A RESOLUTION APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT 2-75 CONSISTING
OF (1) NOISE ELEMENT, (2) SEISMIC AND SAFETY ELEMENTS,
AND (3) SCENIC ROADS ELEMENT.
Roll Call Vote was as follows: Ayes, Councilmen Richard A.
Battaglia, F. Frank Mammini, Terry J. Mirri and Warren
Steinkamp. Noes, none. Abstaining, Councilman Leo Padreddii.
Absent, none.
Discussion then followed concerning the abstaining vote of
Councilman Padreddii at which time Councilman Padreddii
explained why he abstained from voting.
After an explanation by City Planner David Hale, Councilman
Padreddii changed his vote to "aye".
The City Manager at this time brought to Council's attention
a request by the League of California Cities for the
appointment of a voting delegate and alternate at the
forthcoming League conference in San Francisco.

REP. & ALTERNATE TO After some discussion Councilman Steinkampmoved that the
LEAGUE OF CALIF. CITIES Mayor be the delegate to the conference and that he be
~EETING IN S.F. (CONT'D.) empowered to appoint any other councilmember as the
alternate.
The City Manager stated that a designation had to be
made at this time.
After brief discussion Councilman Padreddii was appointed
as the alternate.
Councilman Padreddii seconded the motion which was regularly
carried.
CLAIM OF ARNOLD LEE
Claim of Arnold Lee alleging damages to his vehicle as
a result of a light standard striking his vehicle when
knocked over by an unknown vehicle. The City Attorney
briefly explained the matter recommending a motion by
Council that notice be given of insufficiency of the claim
in that it fails to state a sum of damages.
Councilman Mammini so moved, seconded by Councilman Steinkamp
and regularly carried.
ADJOURNMENT.
There being nothing further to come before Council,
Councilman Steinkamp moved, seconded by Councilman Mammini
and regularly carried that the meeting be adjourned.
Time of adjournment was 5:38 PM.
