The City Attorney at this time reported to Council
relative to the City's inspection of the condominium
buildings in Westborough Hills No. 4. He co~ented on
the lawsuit filed by the residents of the area. The
City Attorney reported that the buildings were to have
been constructed for earthquake damage. However, it
had been found on inspection that they had not been
constructed in accordance with the plans. The City
Attorney then explained the type of construction which
was found upon inspection. Brief discussion followed
between Council and staff.
The City Manager informed Council that a screening
board composed of Parks and Recreation Directors from
the cities of San Francisco, Sunnyvale and Mountain
View recently reviewed the applications for the position
of Director of Parks and Recreation for the City and had
ranked them from one to ten.
Discussion then followed between the members of the City
