1. Call to Order. TIME: 2:07 PM
2. Roll Call. PRESENT. Councilmembers Gupta and
Matsumoto, Planning Commissioners Faria and
Ruiz,
Public Comments. None.
4. Application to construct an 83-unit residential development at 211 Airport Blvd
(Pincflno, LLQ.
Subcommittee members inquired about affordable housing percentages and availability, parking
accommodations and efficient circulation, the height of the building, different renderings of the
project, City Building and Planning requirements, the proposed community benefits package, and
compatibility with the Downtown Plan, Representatives from Pinefino, LLC provided
background on their company, explained their proposal, and discussed details as they presented
their blueprints for review. Subcommittee members asked questions and gave feedback including
their desire to see integration of public art as well as a space for non-profits in the community to
hold meetings,
5. Application for a 262-unit residential development on four parcels of' South City
Ford (Bares- Regis).
Representatives from Sares-Regis detailed their vision for development showcasing a
contemporary, industrial aesthetic focused on serving the younger tech demographic with several
sustainable, integrative parcels. The subcommittee asked clarifying questions about the design
and expressed the desire for a design with more character, warmer colors, retail potential and
more community art.
