4. Motion to Approve the Minutes of the meeting of February 16, 2016 and February 24,
2016.

ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS
5. Review of and Motion to Finalize Funding Recommendations for CDBG FY 2016-2017.
Councilmembers and staff discussed community needs and organizations within the following
categories for consideration; Public Service Grants, Minor Home Repair Programs, City-
Sponsored Programs, CDBG Administration Funding, and Home Funds concerning fair housing
activities.
Following their assessment, Garbarino and Normandy agreed to make the following funding
allocation recommendations under the Public Service Grants category:

Estimated CDBG Funds Available: $67,629
Conversation ensued regarding security lighting,pedestrian improvements, safety concerns, and
crosswalks. Councilmember Garbarino requested staff prioritize the Downtown area.
