Purpose of the meeting: 1. Call To Order. 2. Public Comment. Discussion regarding Oyster Point Short-Term and Long-Term Flood Protection Plans Required by the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board. (Brian McMinn, Public Works Director/City Engineer and Steve McGrath, General Manager). 3. Discussion regarding Joint Powers Authority Agreement between the San Mateo County Harbor District and the City of South San Francisco. 4. Discussion of Committee’s next steps and setting of future meeting dates.5. 6. Adjournment Page 2 City of South San Francisco Printed on 4/29/2016 RESOLUTION NO. 08-2016 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION AMENDING THE FY 2015-2016 PUBLIC WORKS OPERATING BUDGET BY $25,000 FOR ENGINEERING STUDIES AT THE OYSTER POINT MARINA AND PARK. WHEREAS,the City of South San Francisco("the City")owns the land at the Oyster Point Marina and Park, and WHEREAS,The San Mateo County Harbor District("Harbor District")operates the Oyster Point Marina under a Joint Powers agreement with the City of South San Francisco, and WHEREAS, on December 10th,2015,the California State Water Resources Control Board issued an order that requires the City to submit short-term and long-term plans to address flooding and ponding of water on the closed Oyster Point Landfill, and WHEREAS,it is the interest of the City and Harbor District to work together to address the issues of the State Water Resources Control Board by jointly funding an engineering study at the Oyster Point Marina and Park. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby appropriates$25,000 from the General Fund undesignated reserves to pay for half of the costs of the engineering study at Oyster Point Marina. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco authorizes the Finance Department to establish a Budget in within the Public Works Department, Engineering Division financial accounts consistent with the information contained in the staffreport, with funding appropriated from: General Fund $25,000 I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of January, 2016 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Karyl Matsumoto, Richard A.
