NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to Section 54956 of the Government Code of the
State of California,the Community Development Block Grant("CDBG")Subcommittee of the City
of South San Francisco will hold a Special Meeting on Monday,March 28,2016 at 1:30 p.m., at the
City Manager's Conference Room, 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, California 94080.

5. Review of and Motion to Finalize Funding Recommendations for CDBG FY 2016-2017.
Councilmembers and staff discussed community needs and organizations within the following
categories for consideration; Public Service Grants, Minor Home Repair Programs, City-
Sponsored Programs, CDBG Administration Funding, and Home Funds concerning fair housing
activities,
Following their assessment, Garbarino and Normandy agreed to make the following funding
allocation recommendations under the Public Service Grants category:

Conversation ensued regarding security lighting, pedestrian improvements, safety concerns, and
crosswalks. Councilmember Garbarino requested staff prioritize the Downtown area.
