Economic and Community Development Director Alex Greenwood presented the item.
Vice Mayor Gupta asked for clarification regarding the disposition of portion A2a. Director
Greenwood stated A2a sits right at the corner of El Camino and Chestnut and shares the same
physical constraints as A2b with the only difference being the Long Range Property Management
Plan does not designate it for civic purposes.
Councilwoman Matsumoto offered kudos to all the former Redevelopment Agency staff members.
Mayor Addiego queried whether A2a would ultimately serve as the public library court. Director
Greenwood advised A2b is designated for civic use. A2a is the subject of planning for the
combined library and civic use and would need to be purchased from the Successor Agency.
