RESOLUTION NO. 2622
A RESOLL~rION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOl, TH SAN FRANCISCO DETERMINING THE UNPAID
ASSESSMENTS AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF
BONDS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that
WHEREAS said City Council did, on January 6, 1958, pass and
adopl~, its Resolution of Intention No. 2567 relating to the
construction of public improvements in said City under and pursuant
to the provisions of the ~unicipal Improvement Act of 1913, as
amended, and did therein provide that serial bonds wQuld be issued
thereunder pursuant to the pr0visions of the Improvement Bond Act of
1915~ reference to Said Resolution of Intention being hereby
expressly made for further particulars; and
WHEREAS notice of the recordation of the assessments, and
of the time within which the assessments may be paid in cash has been
duly published and mailed in the manner provided by law, and whereas
the time so provided for receiving the payment of assessments in
cash has expired; and whereas~ on April 21~ 1958~ the Director of
Public Works of said City, its ex-officio Superintendent o~ Streets~
did file with the City Treasurer of said city a list of all assess-
ments remaining unpaid; and
WHEREAS said City Council has duly considered said list and
has determined that the same is an accurate statement thereof~
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council as
follows:
1. That the assessments in said unpaid list which now
remain unpaid, and the aggregate thereof~ are as shown on "EXHIBIT
attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof·
2. That reference is hereby made to the assessment and to
the diagram recorded in the Office of the said Director of Public
Works, as ex-officio Superintendent of Streets of said city, as
said assessment and diagram have been confirmed by said City Counc±l,
for a particular description of the lots bearing the respective assess-
ment numbers upon which assessments remain unpaid, severally and
respectively.
3. That the amount of the unpaid assessments is One Hundred
Five Thousand Eight Hundred Fifty-five and 80/100ths Dollars
($105~855o80) and that bonds in the amount of One Hundred Five Thousand
Eight Hundred Fifty-five and 80/100tbs Dollars ($105~855.80) shall be
issued upon the security of said unpaid assessments in accordance with
the provisions of the aforementioned Improvement Bond Act of 1915 and
under and pursuant to the provisions of said Resolution of Intention~
and the proceedings thereunder duly had and taken; that said bonds
shall be one hundred twenty (120) in number~ shall be dated May. 2,
1958, and bear interest at the rate of not-to-exceed six percent (6%)
from M~y 2, 1958~ and the denominatior~of said bonds with their
respective numbers and dates of maturity are as follows:

4. That said bonds shall be issued in series, and the unpaid
assessments as shown on the aforesaid list of unpaid assessments, as
filed with the City Treasurer of said City and as determined by said City
Council, together with the interest thereon, shall remain and con-
stitute a trust fund for the redemption and payment of said bonds and
of the interest which may become due thereon, which unpaid assess-
ments shall be payable in annual series corresponding in number to
the number of series of bonds issued, and an even annual proportion
of each assessment shall be payable in each year preceding the date
of the maturity for each of the several series of bonds issued, and
such proPortion of each assessment coming due in any year, together
with the annual interest.thereon, shall in turn be payable in install-
ments in the same manner as are the general real property taxes
levied by said city, and shall become delinquent at the same time and
in the same proportionate amounts and bear the same proportionate
penalties for delinquency.
5. That said bonds shall be signed by the City Treasurer
of said City and be countersigned by the City Clerk, who shall affix
thereto 'the official seal of said City; that the interest coupons
affixed thereto shall be signed by the City Treasurer or, in lieu
thereof, bear his engraved, printed, or lithographed signature;
and that such signing of said coupons by said City Treasurer shall
constitute, and be, a sufficient and binding execution of each and
every one of said bonds and all the coupons thereof, respectively;
that said bonds shall be substantially in the form set forth in said
Improvement Bond Act of 1915 and that said C/t~ Treasurer and said
City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed so to sign and counter-
sign, respectively.
6. That the interest coupons to be attached to each of said
