HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 05-2004RESOLUTION NO. 05-2004 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA' A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DONATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 TO APPLY TOWARDS THE PURCHASE OF A THERMAL IMAGING CAMERA AND/OR PORTABLE RADIOS WHEREAS, staff recommends the acceptance of a donation in the amount of $5,000 to apply towards the purchase of a thermal imaging camera and/or portable radios; and WHEREAS, funding from Genentech will be combined with other donated funds as appropriate and the appropriate items will be purchased; and WHEREAS, this funding does not create any ongoing financial obligation for the City of South San Francisco. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council accepts a donation in the amount of $5,000 to apply towards the purchase of a thermal imaging camera and/or portable radios. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 28~ day of January 2004 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A. Femekes, Richard A. Garbarino, and Pedro Gonzalez, Vice Mayor Raymond L. Green, and Mayor Karyl Matsumoto NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST: City Clerk
