HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 14-2004 RESOLUTION NO. 14-2004 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PROGRAM WHEREAS, this resolution will establish the City of South San Francisco's goal for the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise that utilizes disadvantaged businesses to the maximum extent feasible but not less than the percentage of the contract cost established in the City's DBE program for federally assisted construction projects funded between October 1,2003 to September 30, 2004; and WHEREAS, the cost for the program is included in the individual Capital Improvement Projects. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby approves the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program as outlined in the program for federally assisted construction projects funded between October 1,2003 to September 30, 2004 and instructing the Director of Public Works to advertise these goals in the San Mateo County Times to allow for comments on the goals. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 25t~ day of February 2004 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Richard A. Garbarino, and Pedro Gonzalez, Vice Mayor Raymond L. Green, and Mayor Karyl Matsumoto NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST:
