ADMINISTRATIVE BUSINESS:
Item 1. Bay Trail Assessment Progress

meeting by Chairperson Woo. Maps and checklists were emailed shortly thereafter, and the
members were asked to choose a section and report their findings to the rest of the group.

BPAC Clerk Michelle Trayer reprinted the assessment packages for the members who still
needed to choose their section, and the remaining responsibilities were di stributed. Due to recent
rain, the assignment deadline was extended to April. Chairperson Woo asked the reports be given
to the clerk upon completion.
Item 2. Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Update and Future Projects
Sam Bautista asked the members to think of bicycle or pedestrian connection, new lanes, etc. to
add to the Master Plan Update. Vice-Chairperson Gerrits said he would find the previous
checklist the committee created and email it so the committee can start reviewing the list before
the next meeting and come prepared to discuss. Clerk Michelle Trayer will mail hardcopies out
to the members who have limited email access. The goal is to be more involved with project
planning and be prepared to convey concerns to the consultant when one is chosen.
Item 3. Caltrain Plaza Review
Sam Bautista shared that there will be a public meeting next month on what amenities and
features the new plaza should have. Sam invited BPAC to this visual exercise and asked the
members to think about what art, colors, lighting, etc. they would like to see in the gateway.
Construction for the plaza should start this October or November. Clerk Michelle Trayer will
send out email and hardcopy invitations when Sam has the meeting date available.

Dan Sherman:
Dan volunteered to reach out to Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition and ask about the advantages of
