HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 31-2004RESOLUTION NO. 31-2004 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE ECCLES AVENUE/FORBES BOULEVARD SIGNAL INSTALLATION PROJECT TO MIKE BROWN ELECTRIC COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $93,340 WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council award the construction contract for the Eccles Avenue/Forbes Boulevard Signal Installation Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Mike Brown Electric Company in the amount of $95,340; and WHEREAS, this project is included in the City of South San Francisco's 2003-2004 Capital Improvement Program in the amount of $270,000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby awards the construction contract for the Eccles Avenue/Forbes Boulevard Signal Installation Project to the lowest responsible bidder, Mike Brown Electric Company in the amount of $95,340. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the contract on behalf of the City of South San Francisco. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 14th day of April 2004 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Councilmembers Joseph A.
