HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 112-2004RESOLUTION NO. 112-2004 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE FIREMAN'S FUND INSURANCE COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,000 TO PURCHASE A FIRE SAFETY HOUSE AND AMENDING THE 2004-2005 OPERATING BUDGET WHEREAS, staffrecommends the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $48,000 from the Fireman's Fund Insurance Company to purchase a Fire Safety House; and WHEREAS, the funding does not create any ongoing financial obligation for the City of South San Francisco. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council accepts a grant from the Fireman's Fund Insurance Company in the amount of $48,000 to purchase a Fire Safety House and amends the 2004-2005 Operating Budget to add $48,000 to the Fire Department budget. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 8~ day of December 2004 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers, Richard A. Garbarino, Pedro Gonzalez, and Karyl Matsumoto, Mayor Pro Tem Joseph A. Fernekes and Mayor Raymond L. Green NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST: City Clerk
