MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION
4. Report regarding a resolution approving a Master Agreement for Taxing Entity
Compensation for distribution of the net proceeds from the sale of properties conveyed to
the City of South San Francisco consistent with the Long Range Property Management
Plan and authorizing the Executive Director of the Board of Willow Gardens Parks and
Parkways Maintenance District to execute the Master Agreement for Taxing Entity
Compensation. (Ron Gerber, Economic Development and Housing Manager)
4a. Resolution No. 1 -2016 approving a Master Agreement for Taxing Entity Compensation
for Distribution of the net proceeds from the sale of properties conveyed to the City of
South San Francisco consistent with the Long Range Property Management Plan and
authorizing the Executive Director of the Board of Willow Gardens Parks and Parkways
Maintenance District to execute agreement. (Ron Gerber, Economic Development &

Housing Manager Gerber presented the staff report recommending that the Board adopt a
resolution approving a Master Agreement for Taxing Entity Compensation for distribution of the
net proceeds from the sale of properties conveyed to the City of South San Francisco consistent
with the Long Range Property Management Plan (LRPMP) and authorizing the Executive
Director of the Board of Willow Gardens Parks and Parkways Maintenance District (WGPPMD)
to execute the Agreement. Manager Gerber explained that the Willow Gardens Parks and
Parkways Maintenance District is one (1) of 10 property tax entities within the jurisdiction of the
City. Consistent with the Successor Agency's LRPMP, which was approved by the California
Department of Finance on October 1, 2015, the Successor Agency will convey 11 properties to
the City for redevelopment activities. Compensation for the 11 properties will be paid to the
taxing entities described in the Master Agreement for Taxing Entity Compensation and the
applicable Purchase and Sale Agreements. As a taxing entity, WGPPMD is entitled to a 0.12
percent proportionate share of total revenues from the sales of properties pursuant to the
LRPMP. The recommended action will ensure that the WGPPMD receives its 0.12 percent
portion of future net proceeds from the sale of former Redevelopment Agency properties.
Motion — Boardmember Garbarino /Second — Boardmember Normandy: to approve Resolution
No. 1 -2016. Unanimously approved by roll call vote.
