HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 109-1921 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PROHIBITING THE GIVING OF FALSE FIRE-ALARM SIGNALS.
The Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco do
ordain as follows:
Section 1. It shall be unlawf~,l for any person to give a
false fire-alarm signal,k~r to c~use any saeh signal to be given,
to the fire department of the City of Soath San Francisco, or to
any person or persons having charge of the fire-fighting or fire-
extinguishing apparatus of said City, by means of the fire-alarm
signalling system of said City or by s~y other m~ans.
Section 2. Any person who shall violate any provision of this
ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, aport conviction there-
of, shall be panished by a fine of not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00)
and not exceeding Three Hand. ed Dollars ($500.00), orby imprisonment
for a period not exceeding Sixty (60) days, or by both s~ch fine and
imprisonment.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be pablished once in "The Enter-
prise", a weekly newspaper printed, published and circulated in the
City of So~th San Francisco, and shall take effect and be in force
from and after the expiration of Thirty (50) days after the date of
its passage.
