The Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco do ordain as follows: Section 1. There is hereby submitted to the qualified electors of the City of South San Francisco, at the general election to be held in said city on'the loth day of April, 19£2, the question or proposi- tion of levying a special tax in the amount of Twenty (£0) cents on each One I-,~undred Doll~rs ($100.0¢1 of the property assessed for the purposes of taxation within said City to raise the sum of Fourteen Thousand Five H~ndred Dollars ($1~,500.00) to be expeaded for improving the Civic Center Site in said City of South San Francisco by grading said Civic Center Site and of authorizing the Board of Trustees of said City of South San Francisco to levy such special tax at the time fixed by law for levying ts~es within said municipality. Section 7. There shall be placed upon the ballots used at the gen- eral election to be held in said City of South San Francisco on the 10th day of April, 19££, the foilo~¥ing proposition: PROPOSITION. The proposition to levy a special tax of Twenty (£0) cents on each One Hundred Dollars (L~10©.00) of the property assessed for the purposes of taxation within said municipality for the p~rpose of raising the sum of Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ("~ ~14,500.00) to be expended for grading the Civic Center Site in said city. For said proposition to levy a special tax of Twenty (£0) cehts on each One Hundred Dollars Yes. If, at said general municipal election, Two-thirds of the votes cast upon said proposition of levying such special tax shall be in favor of the levy thereof, the Board of Trustees of said City of Somth San Francisco; at the time fixed by law for levying taxes within said mmnicipality, shall include the special ta~ provided for in this ordinance for a period of years sufficient to raise said s~am of Fourteen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars {.~t':"'- ~, ~O0.C~C' }. Section 9. This ordinance shall be pmblished by Two (a) insertions in "The Enterprise", a newspaper of general circmlation printed and pmb- lished and circulated one day a week in said City of Somth San Francisco, and shall take effect and be in fmll force fz'om and after the date of its passage and approval.
