Home My WebLink AboutReso 73-2005 RESOLUTION NO. 73-2005 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPROVAL OF THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006 AND ALSO APPROVING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND CONSTRUCTION ADVERTISING FOR PROJECTS UNDER THIS PROGRAM WHEREAS, it is recornrnended that the City Council approve the Capital Irnprovernent Program for Fiscal Year 2005-2006 and also approve plans, specifications and construction advertising for projects under the program; and WHEREAS, the prograrn funding will only include fiscal year 2005-2006 and the projects in the future years will be appropriated in future budget cycles; and WHEREAS, the Planning Cornrnission has reviewed this program and found it consistent with the City's General Plan. The total CIP budget for this fiscal year, including prior appropriations, will be $57,679,128; and WHEREAS, upon adoption of the Capital Improvement Prograrn, Council is also approving the plans and specifications for projects within this program and authorizing the solicitation of construction bids; and WHEREAS, the total CIP budget for this fiscal year will be $57,679,128 of which $46,898,728 is in prior year appropriations and $10,780,400 is in new appropriation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes approval of the Capital Improvernent Program for Fiscal Year 2005-2006 and also approve plans, specifications and construction advertising for projects under the program. * * * * * * 763097-1 (6-22-05) I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 22nd day of June 2005 by the following vote: AYES: Councilrnernbers Richard A.
