HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 91-2005 RESOLUTION NO. 91-2005 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A REPORT OF STORM- WATER MANAGEMENT SERVICES FEES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006 PURSUANT TO SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 14.04.110 WHEREAS, the City Council has given notice and on July 27,2005, held a public hearing as required by law on the subject stormwater rates; and WHEREAS, the rates ilnposed and reflected in the Report of Stonnwater Managelnent Services Fee for Fiscal Year 2005-2006 are the same as the unit rates ilnposed in Fiscal Year 2004-2005. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council, by a lninimuln two- thirds vote, hereby adopts the Report of Stonnwater Management Services Fee for Fiscal Year 2005-2006, and directs that the rates so established shall be collected on the official tax assessment roll, together with real property taxes, and that the aInount shall constitute liens upon the properties which shall be effective at the SaIne time and to the SaIne extent as is provided for by law in the case of real property taxes, with like penalties for delinquencies. * * * * * * I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 27th day of July 2005 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Richard A. Green NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: ATTEST: REPORT OF STORMW A TER MANAGEMENT SERVICES CHARGES FOR 2005-2006 IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 14.04 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE In accordance with Chapter 14.04 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code, the following report prepared as of June 08, 2005 is sublnitted. This report describes the procedure for charging those parcels ofreal property, which receive benefits ofstonnwater systeln services, and the mnount of the annual charge, which will be ilnposed against each parcel for fiscal year 2005-2006. SUlTIlnary of Charges: All single-family residential properties $123,481.02 All multi-fmnily residential properties (Including duplexes) $ 56,926.08 All cOlnmercial/industrial $212,873.46 Parking lots $ 11,328.86 Vacant $ 6,792.16 TOT AL: $411,401.58 This report refers to and incorporates by reference the report entitled "Notice of Proposed City of South San Francisco Stonnwater Management Progrmn Rate Structure" for fiscal year 2005-2006 prepared by and on file in the Office of the Stonnwater Managelnent Coordinator. That report SUlTIlnarizes the 2005-2006 charges that will be proposed by the City Council on July 27, 2005. Upon adoption of the proposed charges, or amendlnents thereto, a report entitled "City of South San Francisco Stonnwater System Charges," prepared by Engineering Data Services, Los Altos, California will be cOlnpleted; it will describe the mnount of annual charge iInposed against each parcel, by Assessor's Parcel Number, for Fiscal Year 2005-2006. All of these documents, including this report, shall be filed with the County Tax Collector or Auditor. Accompanying the filing of this report shall be the Clerk's endorsement that the report has been duly adopted by the City Council. Dated:
