The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does
ordain as follows:
~t~EBEAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
did, on the 1st day of July, 19A8, receive a written petition from
Sam Loda~o, also known es Salvadore Lodato, end Mary Lodato, his
wife, and Joseph S. Lodato and Barbara E. Lodato, his wife, to
annex to said City of South San Francisco the uninhabited territory
hereinafter described; and
~REAS the territory hereinafter described is the
territory sought, in said petition, to be included in said City of
South San Francisco, and is uninhabited territory, as the expres-
sion "uninhabited territory" is used in that certain act of the
Legislature of the State of California entitled "An act to provide
for the alteration of the boundaries of incorporated towns and
cities by the annexation of uninhabited territory thereto and for
the incorporation of such annexed territory in and as a part of such
municipality, and for the districting, government and municipal con-
trol of such annexed territory", ChaPter 297 of Statutes of 1939,
as amended, and is contiguous to said City of South San Francisco;
and
~HE~S, on the 1st day of July, 19A8, said City Council
did pass its certain resolution giving notice of the proposed
annexation of the uninhabited territory hereinafter described to
said City of South San FrancisCo, and did,. in said resolution,
fix Monday, the §th day of August, 19&8, at the hour of 8 o'clock
p.m., in the Council Chamber in the City Hall of said City of
South San Francisco as the time and place when and where any
persons owning real property within the territory hereinafter
described, and so proposed to be annexed, having any objection
to the proposed annexation of said territory, may appear before
said City Council and show cause why said territory should not
be so annexed, and did, in said resolution, find that said Sam Lodato,
Mary Lodato, Joseph S. Lodato and Barbara E. Lodate, are the owners
of more than one-fourth (1/4) of the area of the land hereinafter
described and representS' more than one-fourth(l/4) of the assessed
value of said property, according to the last preceding equalized
assessment roll of the County of San Mateo; and said City Council
did, in said resolution, direct that the City Clerk of said city
cause a copy of said resolution to be published once a week for
two (2) successive Weeks prior to the 5th day of August, 1946,
in "The Enterprise", a weekly newspaper of general circulation,
published in said City of South San Francisco; and
~HEREAS said resolution was published in said "The Enter-
prise" on the following da~es, -the 3rd, 10th and 17th days of
July, 1946; and
WHEREAS no person has filed or made any written or other
protest against the annexation of said territory, or any part there-
of, to said City of South San Francisco;
NOW, THEREFORE, said City Council does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Said City Council hereby determines that said
Sam Lodato, Mary Lodato, Joseph S. Lodato and Barbara E. Lodato
a~e the owners of more than one-fourth (1/4) of the area of land
hereinafter described and represent more than one-fourth (1/4) of the
assessed value of said territory, according to the last preceding
equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo, State of
California, and that said land is uninhabited territory and is
contiguous to said City of South San Francisco.
Section ~. Said City Council hereby approvee the annexation
to said City of South San Francisco of the territory described as
follows:
The land hereinbefore referred to consists of all that
certain real property situate in the County of San Mateo, State of
California, and particularly described as follows:
Begin at a point which is the most westerly corner of
lot ~ in Block G as said lot and block are designated on that certain
map entitled ~TRACT NO §~ NAP NO i COUNTRY ~LUB PARK SAN MATE0
COUNTY, CALIFOP~IA' which map was filed for record in the Office
of the Recorder of San ~la~eo County, State of California, ~iay 9, 19~l
in Book 2~ of Naps, Pages 54, 55 and 56 thereof; running thence from
said point of beginning North ~l°l§' West 60.90 fee~ and South 55°
~5~ Wes~ ~0 feet to the most westerly corner of Lot 8 i~ Block H
as said lot and block are shown on the map above referred to~ thence

East 280 feet along the westerly boundary of said Country Club Park
Subdivision to the most southerly corner thereof; said point being
the most southerly corner of Lot 18 in Block C of said subdivision;
maid point being also in the northwesterly corporate limits line of
the City of South San Francisco; thence South 58°45' West along said
corporate limits line 1011.10 feet to a point in'the northeasterly
line of the lands of the United States of America 'Golden Gate

Cemetery"; thence tWOrth 41 41' Wem~ 15.84 feet and South 54°57' West
806.55 feet along the northeasterly and northwesterly lines of said
Golden Gate Cemetery to the northeasterly line of Junipero Serra
Boulevard as established by deed to Joint Highway District No.
10 of the State of California, a public corporation, recorded
November P~B, 1938 in Liber 810 of Official Records at page 396;
thence northwesterly along said northeasterly line of JUnipero
Serfs Boulevax~ 1699.83 feet to the most southerly corner of
that certain parcel of land described in the Deed from California
Pacific Title Insurance Company, formerly California Pacific Title
& Trust Company, a corporation, to Walter Neugebauer and Xda Neuge-
bauer, his wife, dated December 5, 1945 and recorded February 7,
1946 under File i4o. 8654~F; thence North 58°45' East 903.82 feet
and North ~1°15~' West 357.12 feet along the southeasterly and north-
easterly lines of said lands of i~eugebauer to the most nor~herly
corner thereof; said point being in the Southeasterly boundary line
of the lands now or formerly of the California ~olf Club of San
Francisco; thence h~o~th 55o07'3.0" East along said southeasterly
bounda:y line 1016.72 feet; thence leaving said last mentioned line

forniaPacific Title & Trust Company to Allin McOahon and Rachel McOahon,
his wife, by Deed dated ~ay 20, 1943 and recorded May 21, 1943 ReCorders
file No. 81942-E Records of San Mateo County, California; thenee North
60o30' East 298.75 feet and South ~i°1~' East 420.17 feet along the
northwesterly and northeasterly lines of said lands conveyed to ~cOahon
to the most easterly corner thereof; said point being *~in~ the north-
westerly boundary line of the County Club Par~ Subdivision above
mentioned; thence South ~8° 45' West along said last mentioned line
890 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 5. This ordinance shall be published by one
insertion in" The Enterorise "~
a newspaper of general ~irculation printed and published in said
City of South San Francisco and Shall take effect and be in force
upon the expiration of thirty (30) days following its passage.
Introduced this 5th day of August , 1946.
Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City
of South San Francisco this /~ day of August , 1946, by
the following vote:
