A Special Meeting of the Plarming Commission was held

Hall , South San Francisco, on Wednesday June 27th,1940, at 8 p m.
Present Mr.Hynding in the Chair, Messrs U.S. Marshall, DeNardi,Martinelll,
E.FPKauffmann, and J.G. Walker, Secretary.
Minutes

The minutes of the meeting of June l2:th,l940, were
and approved.
San$o Cristo Society
A letter was read from aMr.. Charles Lema, Vice-President of the Sa.nto
Cristo Society stating they proposed to buy 14 lots in Block 13 and also the
whole of Block 14 in the town of Baden, and attached to his letter was a sketch
of pro;posed buildings such as iaDliiilkk Dance Hall, and etc 49 After carefully
considering this matter, Secretary was instructed to wri te Mr. Lema 8.nd ask h.im
to give us details and specifications of buildings, and their approximate cost
of same, so that the Commission eould in telligently consider same.
Also it was suggested that Seeretary send letters to all property owners in
the town of Baden, wi th reply post cards, asking whether or not property owners in
the district approved of srone or not.
Letter to be sent after Mr. Lema
furnishes the information desired.
Mushroom Plant, Baden.
the question of gnats emanating fram the Mushroom Plant was discussed,
nut as the plant was not yet in operation, nothing could be done at the present
time.
3rd Lane - Blind End at School Grounds
Secretary was instructed to write the City Council asking that sign posts
be erected with signs stating that 3rd Lane is a blin~ street ending at the
school grounds. The signs to be placed at the Orange Avenue Entrance.
Be-Zoning
Secretary was instructed to write Mr. J.W. Coleberd asking if he has yet
prepared the skeleton Ordinance. Also ask him for a copy of the first meeting
minutes of the Planning Commission.
Bill Boards
This matter was discussed and Hi: same VJas laid over for discussion at a
later date.
No further business appearin.g, meeting adjourned until call of the Chairmen.
