The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does ordain as follows: Section 1. The office of deputy tax collector is hereby created. Section 2. It shall be the duty of the deputy tax coll- ector to assist the tax collector in the performance of ~he duties of that office and, in the absence of She tax collector, to perform the duties of that office. Section 3. Said deputy tax collector shall receive such compensation for his services as said City Council may fix from time to time. Section &. This ordinance shall be published once in "The Enterprise", a newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in said City of South San Francisco, a~d shall take effect upon the expiration of thirty (30) days after its adoption.
