COMMUNICATIONS:
Letter from the San Mateo Planning Con~ission asking us too join
with them and all the Cities along the PeninRula for a joint montl
meeting to discuss Planning VIIhere it effects all cities in genera~
This will be a monthly meeting, the first one will be held the 3r(
or 4th'l>Friday.
COW~ITTEE REPORTS:
Road committee reported to prohibit parking of cars on the West s:
of Cypress AveG, from Baden to Armout, also to change the Bus stO]
from the South Eat Corner of Grand & Linden to the North East COTl
of Grand & Lindene
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
Use Permit for Foster & Kleiser to erect a billboard on the Freewc
Many property owners ana the South San Francisco Women's Club and
Luther Carr, Chairman of the Roadside Council of California, were
presentto protest the granting of the permit. After much discussi(
on both sides, Commission Bracco made a motion denying the permit;
being no second the motion was lost. Chairman Schaur declared a
recess and the Commission went into a caucus. Motion made and sec(
ed the permit be motion carried.
Use permit for HeWard & Belle Hillman to erct an 8' fence in Breni
wood. Commissioner's felt this applicatmon should be tabled due tc
the fact the Tract have these restrictions and they should enforcE

Application from the Eo Be Motel to erect a sign on Bayshore Blvie
before planners could proceed a Use Permit must be obtained, layec
over till same is received.
NEW BUSINESS:
Chairman declared first Public Hearing opened on LGAiello to re~
zone lots 13 & 14 Grand, Ave. ( 1054 ) from R~2 to R-3, no protest
made, Hearing order closed and second Public Hearing set for Septl

Application from the C & H Paint & Chemical COe to erect a buid-
ing on the North side of Victory Ave. Motion made & seconeded re-
commending the approval of the construction of samee Motion carriE
Application from Eugene Siler to erect a Lath House & Rustic HaaSE
for a Salesroom for selling landscaping and the selling of Shrubs,
Motion made and secoIlded that same be permi~~ed to build same,
motion carried.
Application from the Holmes Equipment Co~to erect a building on
Victory avenue. Mre Rozzi asked the Commission to hold up request
they are to submit new building plans0
Motion made and seconded to adjourn till next reuglar meeting .of
September 14th.1949.
