does ordain as follovs~
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to
appear in a state of drunkenness or intoxication in, at or near any
motor vehicle stamding upon any public street, highway or public
place within the City of South San Francisco, whether or not such
person may be the o~ner or operator of such motor vehicle.
Section 2. Any person who shall violate any
vision of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor
and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine of not less
than T~enty-five Dollars ($25.OO), and not exceeding Three Hundred
Dollars {$3OO.OO), or by i~prison~ent for a period not exceeding
three (3)~onths, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Section 3. No Judgment of conviction by reason
of a violation of this ordinance may be suspended.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be published by
one insertion in The Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in the City of South San Francisco, and
shall take effect and be in force upon the expiration of thirty (30}
days after its adoption.
