Planned Community, with off es at 42l Grand Avenue, South San
Francisco, California:
"Dear Mr. Pass: On March 7, 1966 the South San Francisco City
Council adopted the Stonegate Ridge Amended Ordinance. This
Ordinance became effective 30 days after its adoption on April 7,1966.
According to Section Regulations Paragraph A-8 a use permit
requ.ired to be filed within one year the adoption the
nance. The same paragraph indicates the Planning Commission may
extend the time for this filing for a period not to exceed one year.
Two very serious problems have confronted the Stonegate Ridge develop-
ment and because of the de beyond our control we respectfully
request the Planning Commiss to grant us a one year extension
April 7, 1967. .
serious of our problems was the general shortage of money
home mortgages. This problem was general and has
home construction in all the area including Stonegate
Our other serious problem was some unavoidable delay in
ing the underground work in the streets, which combined
the present above normal winter rain served to put the project
many months behind our plan of having streets paved by September
19668 There have been other minor problems causing some delays,
not worth recounting this letter...
My ~~lssociates and I would appreciate the early and favorable act
on our request by the Planning Commission of the City of h San
