COMMUNICATIONS
As an information item, staff discussed with the Commission a minor modi-
fication required in Cabot, Cabot & Forbes' tentative parcel map (PM-123)
as a result of conditions imposed by the Commission in the approval of the
Tentative Parcel Map on January 14, 1975. The modification adds a small
strip of land to the parcel map to accommodate the driveway providing
access to the property being subdivided. On recommendation from staff,
the Commission felt that they would not need to see the application again.
GOOD AND WELFARE
Commissioner Raffaelli made mention to staff that when the Magna Carta Uni-
versity was allowed to be established in the old Crocker Bank Bu511ding on
Grand Avenue the lower portion of the building was re-painted and that
this paint is already peeling off. It was also noted that the new Crocker
Bank on Linden Avenue is not taking care of the landscaping around their
building. Staff indicated they would investigate these matters.
Commissioner Teglia requested staff to provide her with a copy of Item 22
of Status Report #197. She also requested to know if the traffic study
regarding Eucalyptus Avenue extension had been done. Secretary Hale said
that the traffic study had been completed and that the matter will be
returned to the Commission in the near future.

February 25~ 1975
Commissioner Lazzari briefly discussed on-street parking problems,
noting that it was virtually impossible for the street sweeper to
efficiently sweep the streets because of an abundance of cars parked
on the streets.
Staff announced to the Commission that Xtra Oil Company ~UP-75-300)
had appealed the Planning Commission decision and that this matter
would go before City Council sometime in April.
There being nothing further to be considered under Good and Welfare,
and no further communications or other matters of interest for the
Commission, Chairman Mathewson announced the next regular meeting of
the Planning Commission would be held March 11, 1975 at 8:00 p.m. in
the West Orange Library Auditorium.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
