Rezoning Application of the City of South San Francisco and an environmental determin-
ation of same to rezone the Serra Vista School from "U" Unclassified to R-l Single-
Family Zone District on developed property located between Junipero Serra Boulevard
and 1-280 and southerly of Dundee Drive in accordance with Section 6.6 of Ordinance
No. 353, as amended.
November 13 Staff Report presented.
A letter from the South San Francisco Unified School District was presented which re-
quested a continuance to the Planning Comrrdssion meeting of December 9, 1980 to allow
more time for input from the School Board of Trustees. The CDrrrnission felt that suf-
ficient time had been provided and that this v~s only a recommendation to the City
Council.

Interpretation of Condition No. 5 requlrlng a slope stabilization plan for Parcel ~1ap
PM-79-l82 of Thomas Callan to create four parcels from one existing on vacant property
located on the westerly side of C~llert Boulevard north of Westborough Boulevard in
the C-l Zone.
November 13 Staff Report presented.
Applicant present: Thomas Callan, 2790B,Junipero Serra Boulevard, Daly City.
A lengthy discussion ensued between the Commissioners and Mr. Callan. Mr. Callan
was informed by the Corrrnission that the slope stabilization plan for Parcel l\1ap PH-79-l82
discussed in ~1arch, 1980, was intended to include the entire slope.
In connection with the status report on recent buildinv additions in the Francisco
Terrace neighborhood, COmmissioner Grimes requested that the address of 116 Francisco
Drive be checked for a Building Permit for a three car garage and whether proper
setbacks had been maintained.

The proposed amendments to the Planning Corrrnission Rules and By-Laws and the proposed
schedule for 1981 was presented to the Commission.
Motion-GrimesjSecond-'J8tz; To approve the proposed amendments to the Rules and By-Laws
and the proposed meeting schedule for 1981 noting the change from Tuesday to Thursday
night meetings.
Unanimously approved.
