Ordinance No. 379
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 353 ENTITLED
"ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRAN-
CISCO'', PASSED AND ADOPTED AUGUST 10, 1954.
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does
ordain as follows:
SECTION I. Subsection 2.2 of Ordinance No. 353, as
amended, entitled "Zoning Ordinance of the City of ~cuth San
Francisco", passed and adopted on August 10, 1954, is hereby amended
so that the following described real property may be re-zoned from
its present classification of R-1 (Single Family Dwelling) to a PCM
(~:lanned Commercial Manufacturing) classification:
All that property situate in the City of South San
Francisco, County of San MateD, State of California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the most Westerly corner of that certain
7.84 acre parcel of land conveyed by Deed by the
South San Francisco Land and Improvement Company, a
corporation, to the City of South San Francisco, which
was filed May 2, 1934 in Book 618 of Official Records
at page 478, San MateD County Records; thence South
15" 33' West 42.17 feet to an intersection with the
Northerly line of the Southern Pacific Right of Way;
thence North 55° 59' 10" West 248.11 feet along said
right of way; thence North 17 33' East 530 feet more
or less, to the center line of the drainage Canal
Easement (50 feet wide) as granted by South San Fran-
cisco Land & Improvement Company, Inc. to the City of
South San Francisco in Deed dated May 8, 1935 and
recorded February 13, 1936 in Book 674 of Official
Records at page 419; thence along said center line 5.
59° 39' 57" E. 243.39 feet to the Northwesterly line
of the above mentioned 7.84 acre Tract; thence along
said Northwesterly line $. 15° 33' Wo 500 feet more
or less, to the point of beginning.
SECTION ii. Said Subsection 2.2 of Ordinance No. 353, as
amended, entitled "LJoning' Ordinance of the City of South jan
Francisco", passed and adoptcd on August i0, !5~,~, is hereby further
amended so that the following described real property may be re-zoned
from its present classification of R-1 (Single Family Dwelling) to a
C-1 (Neighborhood Commercial Area) classification:
All that property situate in the City of South San
Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California,
described as follows:
COM~ENCING at a point on the northeasterly corner of
Mission Road and Sequoia Avenue, running thence north-
easterly along the line of Sequoia Ave. 225.85 feet,
thence at a right angle southeasterly 118.40 feet,
thence at a right angle southwesterly 225.85 feet;
thence at a right angle northwesterly 118.40 feet
to the point of coi~.encement. Being a portion of
Lot No. 1, Block ~, Junshine Gardens Subd. No. 2.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall be published once as
required by law and shall take effect and be in ~orce thirty
days from and after its adoption.
