ORDINANCE NO. 416
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO PROHIBITING PARKING ON THE
SOUTH SIDE OF RAILROAD AVENUE BETWEEN
MAPLE AND LINDEN AVENUES
The City Council of the City of South San Francisco
does hereby ordain as follows:
Section 1. No person shall stop, park or leave
standing any vehicle whether attended or unattended along the
south side of Railroad Avenue between Maple and Linden Avenues.
Section 2. Any vehicle stopped, parked or left stand-
ing unattended may be removed from the south side of Railroad
Avenue between Maple and Linden Avenues as provided in Section
585 of the California Vehicle Code by the Police Department.
Section 3. Any person violating the provisions of
this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con-
viction shall be punished by a fine not exceeding THREE HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($300.00) or by imprisonment in the City jail for a
period not exceeding three (3) months or by both such fine and
imprisonment.
This ordinance shall be published once as required by
law and shall take effect and be in force following the expira-
tion of thirty (30) days from and after the date of its adoption.
Introduced this 3rd day of June 1957.
Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of South
San Francisco at a regulmr meeting of the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco this 17th day of June
1957, by the following vote:
AYES, COUNCILMEN G.J. Rozzi, Andrew Rocca and Emilio Cortesi.
