ORDINANCE OF INTENTION TO VACATE ROZZI WAY
FOR ITS FULL LENGTH
The Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, does
ordain as follows:
Sec. 1. This ordinance is adopted pursuant to the Street Vacation
Act of 19~l.
Sec. 2. The public interest and convenience require, and it is the
intention of this Council to vacate Rozzi Way, a public street located in
said City of South San Francisco, for its full length, as said street is
shown on that certain map entitled "South San Francisco Industrial Park,
Unit No. 2 - C", which map was recorded in the office of the County Recorder
of the County of San Mateo on February 25, 1959, in Book 50 of Maps, at
pages 31, 32 and 33.
Sec. 3. Notice is hereby given that Tuesday, September 8, 1959, at
8:00 o'clock P.M. at the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
South San Francisco, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where
all persons interested in, or having objections to, the proposed vacation
of said Rozzi Way, may appear before said Council and be heard.
Sec. 4. The City Clerk of said City shall publish this ordinance
once in a newspaper of general circulation, published within said City of
South San Francisco, in the manner prescribed by law for publishing
ordinances for said City.
Sec. 5. Notices of the vacation of said street shall be posted
conspicuously along the line of the street proposed to be vacated at least
ten (10) days before the date set for the hearing. Such notices shall be
posted not more than 300 feet apart, but a~t three shall be~d..~X~~Ma~~~~

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance is
a full, true and correct copy of Ordinance No. 4S9 of the City of
South San Francisco, entitled as above; that it was adopted by the Council
of said City on August S , 1959, by the following vote:
AYES, and in favor thereof, Councilmen: Andrew Rocca, G. J. Rozzi,
Leo J. Ryan and Patrick E. Ahern
NOES, Councilmen: None
ABSENT, Councilmen: Emilio Cortesi
That it was published in the Enterprise-Journal on
the 6th day of August ,1959, and being an ordinance
of intention adopted pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941, it
became effective immediately upon its adoption.
