ORDINANCE NO. 517
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED
"SOLOMON-MABIE ANNEXATION (COUNTRY CLUB
PARK)" TO THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
BE IT ORDAINED BY the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of September , 196% , the
Council of the City of South San Francisco did pass and adopt
Resolution No. kO55 giving notice of the proposal to annex
certain uninhabited territory to the City of South San Fran-
cisco, said territory being therein designated as "Solomon-
Mabie Annexation (Country Club Park)", said Resolution describ-
ing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed,
and,
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 4055 did contain a notice
of the day, hour and place when and where the Council of the
City would hear protests made by any person owning real proper-
ty within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of
said hearing being not less than forty (40) nor more than six-
ty (60) days from the date of passage of said Resolution, and,
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of November , 19 ~, at
the hour of 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall
of the City of South San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State
of California, said time and place being the day, hour and
place fixed in said Resolution No. 4055 for hearing protests
to said annexation, the City Council opened said hearing and
continued it to November 16th, 1964, and then to December 7th,
1964, at which time the City Council did hear and pass upon all
protests made to the proposed annexation and did determine that
protests had not been made by the owners of one-half of the value
of the privately owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown
on the last equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of
one-half of the value of the publicly owned territory proposed
to be annexed as determined by said legislative body, and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of South
San Francisco and is uninhabited territory in the County of San
Mateo, State of California, and
WHEREAS, the owners of said territory have given and executed
their written consent as provided by law that the property with-
in the annexed territory shall upon annexation be taxed and sub-
ject to taxation to pay any indebtedness or liability of the City
of South San Francisco contracted prior to or existing at the
time of annexation on the same basis as property is taxed through-
out said City, which written consent is presently on file with
the City Clerk of said City.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of South

San Francisco does hereby approve the annexation of the
territory hereinafter described to the City of South San
Francisco, and does hereby further ordain that said terri-
tory' be, and it is hereby, annexed to the City of South San
Francisco and is designated "Solomon-Mabie Annexation (Coun-
try Club Park)", and that said territory, the annexation
of which to the City of South San Francisco is herein
approved, is all that territory situate in the County of
San Mateo, State of'California, more particularly described
as follows:

All that certain real p~oper~y situated in the County of
San Marco, State of Calzforn~a, described as follows:
BEGInnING at a point in the corporate limits line of the
City of South San Francisco, as established by Ordinance
No.427, adopted November 3, 1958, said point being the
point of intersection of the Northeasterly line of AlSda
Street (formerly "A'' Street) with the Northwesterly lzne
of Lot 6, Block "A", as said Street, Lot and Block are
shown on the map entitled "TRACT NO.534, MAP NO.1, COUNTRY
CLUB PARK, S~aN MATEO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA", which map was
filed in the office of the Recorder of the County of San
M~teo, State of California, on May 9, 1941 in Book 23 of
Maps at pages 54, 55 and 56; thence from said point of
beginning along said corporated limits line, also being
the Northwesterly and Northeasterly lines of said Lot 6
and Northerly line of Lots 5 and 4 in said Block "A" as
follows: North 58° 45' East 280 feet, South 31° 15'East
28.72 feet and North 89° OO' 23" East 181.16 feet; thence
leaving said corporate limits line South 31° 13' 45"
East to Southeasterly lime of said Lot 4 in Block "A",
said Southeasterly line also being the Northwesterly line
of corporate limits of the City of South San Francisco,
as established by Ordinance No.391, adopted April 16,
1956; thence along said Northwesterly corporate limits
line South 27° 49' 23" West to the Northerly line of
Alida Street (formerly "A" Street)} thence leaving said
corporate limits line, South 5° 45 West 25.00 feet to
the center line of said Alida Street; thence along said
center line, North 84° 15' West 211.98 feet and Norther-
ly on the arc of a curve to the right, tangent to the
preceding course, said curve h~_ving a radius of 237.60
feet and a central angle of 53° 00', an arc distance of
219.79 feet to a point which bears South 58° 45' West
25.00 feet from the point of beginning; thence North 58°
45' East 25.00 feet to the point of beginning.

Passed and adopted as an Ordinance of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this
21st day of December , 19 64 by the following vote:

Cortesi, Andrew Rocca, and Guido J. Rozzi
