AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ESTAB-
LISHING ~RULES, REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS FOR INSTALLATION
OF PLUMBING FIXTURES AND APPLIANCES IN SAID CITY; PRO-
VIDING FOR ISSUANCE OF PERMITS AND COLLECTION OF FEES;
PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS THEREOF; REPEALING
ORDINANCES NOS. 188, 319, 389 AND 508; 'AND ADOPTING BY
REFERENCE THE WESTERN PLUMBING OFFICIALS UNIFORM PLUMB-
ING CODE - 1964 EDITION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: ADOPTION OF UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE 1964 EDITION, EX-
CEFI' FOR CERTAIN SECTIONS, SUBSECTIONS, PARTS OF SECTIONS,
DEFINITIONS AND APPENDICES:
Ail of the provisions of the Western Plumbing Officials Uni-
form Plumbing Code, 1964 Edition, including appendices thereto,
adopted at the Thirty-Fourth Annual Conference of the Western
Plumbing Officials Association, October 1963, hereinafter called
"Plumbing Code", are hereby adopted and made a part of this Ordin-
ance as though fully set forth herein, except the following sec-
tions or parts thereof, which are shown as amendments, providing
for deletions, additions or modifications. The substance of the
amendments providing for additions or modifications is set forth
in SECTION II of this Ordinance.

Three certified copies of said Code shall be filed and kept
in the office of the City Clerk, as required bylaw, during the
time this Ordinance is in effect, except that after adoption of
this' Ordinance one of said copies may be kept in the, office of the
Chief Building Official instead of the City Clerk's office.
SECTION II. SECTIONS, SUBSECTIONS, PARTS OF SECTIONS AND DE-
~'INITIONS ADDED:
The following sections, subsections and parts of sections,
which shall read as hereinafter stated, are hereby adopted, and
added to the Western Plumbing Officials Uniform Plumbing Code -
1964 Edition, which was adopted by SECTION I of this Ordinance.
PART ONE:
SEC. 1.1 ADMINISTRATIVE AUTHORITY AND ASSISTANTS
Whenever the term "administrative authority" is used in
this code, it shall be construed to mean Chief Building Inspector
or his authorized representative.
SEC. 1.2 ASSISTANTS
Whenever the term "assistants" is used in this code,
it shall be construed to mean the Building Inspector or

Assistant Building I~spectors.
SEC. 1.3 DEPARTMENT HAVING JURISDICTION
Unless otherwise provided by law, the office of the
Administrative Authority shall be part of the Building De-
partment except that for the purposes of Secs. 1109, 1110,
1111, 1112, 1113, 1114, 1115, 1116, 1117, 1118 and 1119, ad-
ministration shall be under the Department of Public M~alth
and Welfare, as the duly authorized Health Department of the
City. Secs. 15OO et ~eq. shall be under the joint administ-
ration of the Building Department and the Department of Pub-
lic Health and Welfare of San Mateo County, as the duly author-
ized Health Department of the City.
SEC. 1.7 VIOLATIONS AND PENALTIES
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation
to construct, install, alter, repair, equip, use, move or
maintain any plumbing system and/or appliances, or drainage
systems and/or appliances, or cause the same to be done, con-
trary to or in violation of this Ordinance, the Code adopted
thereby or any provisions thereof.
Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance or Code thereby adopted shall
be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and each such person,
firm or corporation shall be deemed guilty of a separate
offense for each and every day or portion thereof during
which said violation is committed, permitted or continued,
and upon conviction of any such violation shall be punish-
able' by a fine of not less than ~wenty-Five Dollars ($25.00)
or by imprisonment for not exceedin$ six (6) months, or by
both such fine and i~prisonment.
The issuance or $~anting of a per~it or approval of
plans and specifications shall not be deemed or construed
to be a permit for, or an approval of, any violation of any
of the provisions of this code. No permit presuming to give
authority to violate or cancel the provisions of this code
shall be valid, except insofar as the work or use which it
authorizes is lawful.
The issuance or granting of a permit or approval of plans
shall not prevent the Administrative Authority from thereafter
requiring the correction of errors in said plans and speci-
fications or from preventing construction operations being
carried on thereunder when in violation of this code or of
any other ordinance or from revoking any Certificate of Ap-
proval when issued in error.
Every permit issued by the Administrative Authority
under the provisions of this code shall expire by limitation
and become null and void, if the work authorized by such per-
mit is not commenced within sixty (60) days from the date
of issuance of such permits or if the work authorized by
such permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after the
work is commenced for a period of sixty (60) days. Before
such work may be reco~=enced, a new permit shall be first
obtained to do so.
SEC. 1.10 TO WHOM PERMITS MAY BE ISSUED
(a) No permit shall be issued to any 'person to do
or cause to be done any plumbing or drainage work regulated
by this Code, except to a person holding a valid unexpired
and unrevoked Plumbing Contractor's License issued by the
State of California, except when and as otherwise herein-
after provided in this section.
(b) No permit shall be issued to any person to do or
cause to be done any sewer or private sewage disposal system
work regulated by this code, except to a person holding a
valid unexpired and unrevoked Sewer and Sewage Disposal Con-
tractor's License issued by the State of California, except
when and as otherwise hereinafter provided in this section.
SEC. 1.12 COST OF PERMIT
(a) Every.applicant for a permit tOatmstall, add to,
alter, relocate or replace a plumbing or drainage system or
part thereof, shall state in writing on the application form
provided for that purpose the character of the work proposed
to be done and the amount and kind in connection therewith,
together with such information pertinent thereto as may be
required.
(b) Any perxon who shall commence any plumbing work
for which a permit is required by this code without first
having obtained a permit therefor shall, if subsequently
permitted to obtain'a permit, pay double the permit fee
fixed by this section for such work, provided, however, that
this provision shall not apply to emergency work when it
shall be proved to the satisfaction of the Administrative
Authority that such work was urgently necessary and that
it was not practical to obtain a permit therefor before the
commencement of the werk. In all such cases a permit must be
obtained as soon as it is practical to do so, and if there
be an unreasonable delay in obtaining such permit, a deuble
fee as herein provided shall be charged.
(c) For the purpose of this section, a sanitary plumb-
ing outlet on or to which a plumbing fixture or appliance
may be set or attached shall be construed to be a fixture.
Fees for reconnection and retest of existing plumbing systems
in relocated buildings shall-be based on the number of plumb-
ing fixtures, gas systems, water heaters, etc. involved~
(d) When interceptor traps or house trailers site traps
are installed at the same time as a building sewer on any
lot, no sewer permit shall be required for the connection of
any such trap.to an appropriate inlet fitting provided in
the building sewer by the permittee constructing such sewer.
(e) When a permit has been obtained to connect an
existing building or existing work to the public sewer or
to connect to a new private disposal facility, backfilling
of private sewage disposal facilities abandoned consequent
to such connection is included in the building sewer permit.
(f) Such applicant shall pay the fees as hereinafter
set forth:
1. At the time of the issuance of the Building
Permit, the Building Inspection Department shall, in
conjunction with the collection of the Building Permit,
Fee, require the payment of. the Plumbing Permit Fee.
2. Should the nature of the plumbing work not be
known at the time of the issuance of the Building Per-
mit, the minimum permit fees may then be based on the
valuatiom of the proposed construction as set forth in
the following schedule entitled "PLUMBING. PERMIT FEES
SCHEDULE OF FLAT RATES" SEC. 1.12 (f)~3, provided further
that prior to the Building Inspector making a final
inspection, the Plumbing Permit shall be revised .by
computing the Permit Fees as set forth in subsection
(f)4 of SEC.I.12, and any additional Plumbing Permit
Fees so computed shall then be paid to the Building
Inspection Department by the permittee.

PART TWO:
SEC. 2.2 GENERAL PROVISIONS
It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct, carry .on or
engage in the business of plumbing or act in the capacity of a
'plumbing contractor without first securing a valid State of
California Plumbing Contractor' s License.
CHAPTER~I~ = DEFINITIONS:
Bathroom (Private use): A room containing a bath ~ub, show-
er, or water closet, installed individually or as a single group
in residences, apartments, hotels, hospitals, or rest rooms in com-

mercial establishments where the fixtures are intended solely
for the use of the occupants or family.
Condensate Waste: Waste water caused bY the formation o£
moisture on the outside of coils or other surfaces.
, First Floor: The first floor is the ground ~loor, or the
slab floor above the garage, basement, or crawl space.
Horizontal Pipe: A horizontal pipe is any pipe. or fitting
which is installed in a horizontal POSition or which makes an
angle of more than seventy-two (72) degrees with the vertical.
Vertical Pipe: A vertical pipe is any pipe or fitting which
is installed in a vertical position, or which makes an angle of
not more than seventy-two (72) degrees with the vertical.
CHAPTER 2:
SEC. 203. USE OF COPPER TUBING
(c) Copper tube for water piping shall have a weight of not
less than that of copper water tube Type L. Type M copper tubing
may be used for water piping when piping is above ground and the
normal pressure does not exceed 1OO pounds and the working temper-
ature does not exceed 210° F.
CHAPTER 3:
SEC' 302. CONNECTION TO PLUMBING SYSTEM REQUIRED
All plumbing fixtures, drains, appurtenances and appliances
used to receive or discharge liquid wastes or sewage shall be con-
nected properly to the drainage system of the building or premises,

in accordance with the requirements of this code.
The arrangement of all sewer, soil, waste and drainage pipe
lines shall be as direct as possible and grouped at a point eot
to exceed three (3) feet beyond the wall of the building or
buildings nearest~he main sewer ia the street, alley or easement,
and shall have a tcontinuous fall of ant less than one-quarter (%)
inch per foot, except as provided in SEC. llO6(a).
SEC. 310. PROHIBITED FITTINGS AND PRACTICES
(e) No fitting, connection, device or method of installation
which obstructs or retards the flow of water, wastes, sewage or
air ia the drainage or venting systems in aa amount greater than
the normal frictional resistance to flow, shall be used unless it
is indicated as acceptable ia this code or is approved by the Ad-
ministrative Authority as having a desirable and acceptable func-
tion and as of ultimate benefit to the proper and continuing
functioning of the plumbing system. The enlargement of a three
(3) inch closet bead or stub for four (4) inches shall ,at be con-
sidered aa obstruction.
(h) Except for necessary valves where intermemberiags or
mixing of dissimilar metals occur, the point of connection shall
be confined to aa exposed or accessible location.
CHAPTER 4:
TABLE 4-3 - Footnote: All horizontal drainage piping below the
first floor~ receiving the discharge of water closets, shall be
not less than four (4) inches in diameter, except that additions
to, or remodeling of, and existing system may be installed in
accordance with Table 4-3.

The sum of the drain outlets, using the total fixture unit
values, determines the size of the main waste.
If the manufacturer gives the rate of flow per refrigerator
unit, then the unit value (based on 7% gallons per m~nute)
may be used in lieu of drain outlet column.

SEC. 406. CLEANOUTS
(a) Each horizontal drainage pipe shall be provided with
a cleanout at its upper terminal; and each such run of piping
which is more than one hundred (1OO) feet in length shall be
provided with a cleanout for each one hundred (100) feet or frac-
tion thereof, in the length of such piping; provided, however,
that excepting the building drain and its horizontal branches, a
cleanout shall not be required on any such concealed or complete-
ly enclosed pipe or piping which is above the first floor of the
building.
(b) Each change of direction of horizontal drainage pipe
shall be served by a cleanout if such change of direction exceeds
sixty (60) degrees from a straight line.
CHAPTER 6:
SEG. 608. APPLIANCES
Appliances, devices, equipment or other apparatus not regu-
larly classed as plumbing fixtures, bu~ which are equipped with
pumps, drips, or drainage outlets, may be drained by indirect
waste pipes discharging into an approved type open receptor. No
domestic dishwashing machine shall be,,~directly connected to a
drainage system. Sizing of gravity condensate lines shall be not
less than permitted in Table 4-3(a) of this Code. Discharge unit
valves shall be as shown in Table 4-3(a).

CliAPTER ?:
SEC. 702. TRAPS PROTECTED BY' VENT PIPES
(c) A trap arm may change direction without the use of a
cleanout when such change of direction is accomplished by the
use of not more than two (2) forty-five (45) degree fittings or
one (1) ninety (90) degree fitting of approved radius. "Approved
radius" shall mean not less than a medium-sweep elbow.

SEC, 1003. CROSS CONNECTION CONTROL
(p) Air Chambers. All faucets on the inside of the building
with the exception of water ~'heaters, tub and shower valves, shall
be provided with air chambers consisting of sections of pipe equal
in size to the risers supplying the openings, and to be not less
than sixteen (16) inches long.
SEC. 1005. VALVES
(f) A gate shutoff valve shall be installed on each water
supply system at any accessible point where said supply enters
the building, amd on each apartment or dwelling of more than one
family. In lieu of a main supply shutoff in each apartment, in-
dividual shutoff valves shall be provided at each fixture.
(g) Wet and dry standpipes shall be constructed of wrought
iron or galvanized steel in accordance with Chapter 38 of the
Uniform Building Code.
SEC. 1OO7. WATER PRESSURE REGULATORS
(b) An approved type pressure regulator preceded by an
adequate strainer shall be installed and the pressure reduced to
sixty (60) pounds per square inch. Each such regulator and strain-
er shall be accessibly located and shall have the strainer readily
accessible for cleaning without removing the regulator or strainer
body or disconnecting the supPly piping. Ail pipe size determin-
ations shall be based on eighty (80) percent of the reduced pres-
sure.
SEC. 1OO8. INSTALLATION
(a) Installation. All water piping shall be adequately
supported to the satisfaction of the Administrative Authority.
Burred ends shall be reamed to the full bore of the pipe. Changes
in direction shall be made by the appropriate use of fittings ex-
cept that changes in direction in copper tubing may be made with
bends having a radius of not less than six (6) diameters of the
tubing, provided that such bends are made by the use of forming
equipment which does not deform or create a loss in cross-section-
al area of the tubing. Approved provisions shall be made for ex-
pansion in hot water piping. All piping, equipment, appurtenances
and devices mhall be installed in a workmanlike manner in confirm-
ity with the provisions and intent of this Code. Soft-tempered
copper water tubing, Type L or K, installed under concrete slabs,
may be bent with no less than a six (6) inch radius by hand, or
a two and one-half (2%) inch radius bend by a tool made for that
purpose. ~11 such work must be tested and inspected before cover-

lng. In all instances where ferrous and nonferrous metals are
used on water piping systems, all connections between the two
metals shall he made by a brass fitting and such fitting shall be
in an accessible location above grade.
(c) (2). Copper tubing shall be installed without joints where
possible. ~Where joints are permitted, they shall be soldered
with 95.5 solder and fitting shall be wrought copper.
CHAPTER 11:
SEC. 1~03. BUILDING SEWER MATERIALS
(c) When converting from septic tank to sanitary sewer system,
cast iron pipe shall be run to a point of at least three (3) feet
inside the required side yard line. The balance of the line may
be of any of the approved types for sewer systems.
SEC. 1107. CLEANOUTS
(e) When a main sewer is located in the street, alley or
easement, there must be provided a cleanout brought up flush with
sidewalk level next to curb and, if no curb or sidewalk exist,
then the cleanout must be located inside of the lot line. Riser
shall be of cast iron, the same size as the drain it serves,
brought up to the level of the ground by a wye and branch fittings,
and top of same to be provided with a resulation cleanout. If
the sidewalk space mentioned is entirely concrete, then a cast
iron sidewalk box, with loose cover fitted with brass screws,
shall be installed. The maximum size for a cleanout plug shall
be four (4) inches.
CHAPTER 13:
SEC. 1310. PROTECTION FROH DRAINAGE
(d) Water Heater Safety Pans. Water heater shall have safe-
ty pans with drains when located in living area or when leakage
would do damage to the building or its contents. The pans shall
be of metal and be of such dimension as to provide a minimum of
two (2) inch clearance between the pan and the outside diameter of
the heater with a depth of three (3) inches. The drain shall not
be less than three-fourths (3/4) inch. The drain may empty into
the crawl space or taken to the etterior of the building.
SEC. 1325. GAS APPLIANCES MISCELLANEOUS
All gas appliances, including, but not limited to, boilers,
ranges, ovens, clothes dryers, and burners, shall be installed in
full compliance with the Building Code of the City of South San
Francisco.
CHAPTER 14:
SEC. 1401. DISPOSAL OF RAINWATER DRAINAGE
(a) Rainwater from roof or other approved areas exposed to
rainwater may be drained into the storm drainage system, or the
combined sanitary and storm water drainage, but shall not drain
into any sewer intended for sanitary sewage only.
(b) Rainwater drainage below curb, and also below main sewer
level, shall be installed as per SEC. 409 of this Code.
SEC. 1402. PERMIT
A special permit shall be procured in all cases to connect

rainwater drainage to the storm water drainage system, which
special permit shall bear the written approval of the City En-
gineer or other public authority having jurisdiction over public
sewers,
SEC. 1403. PAVED GUTTER
Rainwater from roofs or other approved areas exposed to
rainwater may drain into a public street gutter, provided that
such ~utter is paved and runs to a catch basin connected to a
public sewer system and provided further that such drainage has
the approVal of the City Engineer or other public authority hav-
ing jurisdiction over public streets or public sewers.
SEC. 1404. ABSORBED BY SOIL
Rainwater from roofs or other approved areas may drain into
a system of drainage piping designed to allow such drainage to be
absorbed by the. soil of the premises, or may discharge upon the
premises outside of the building walls.
SEC. 1405. RAINWATER TO PUBLIC GUTTERS
No rainwater from roofs, or other rainwater drainage of pre-
mises, shall discharge upon a public sidewalk. When it is desired
to conduct rainwater from a building or premises to a public street
gutter, the outside underground drainage piping shall be vitrified
clay pipe, galvanized wrought iron pipe, galvanized steel pipe,
approved concrete pipe, asbestos cement sewer pipe or cast iron
pipe. When clay pipe, asbestos cement sewer pipe or approved con-
crete pipe is used, such pipe shall be two (2) feet from the build-

lng and one (1) foot below the official grade. Water leaders
connected to such background drainage pipe which are on the out-
side of the building wall that abuts on a public thoroughfare,
shall be constructed of galvanized wrought iron pipe, galvanized
steel pipe, or cast iron pipe for a distance of not less than
five (5) feet vertically above the official grade.
SEC. 1406. SHEET METAL LEADERS AND DOWNSPOUTS
No sheet metal water leader shall be installed on the inside
of a building, inner court or vent shaft, nor shall any sheet
metal leader be directly connected to any drainage system which
connects with a public sewer.
SEC. 1407. DEFECTIVE SHEET METAL WATER LEADERS
Whem an existing sheet metal water leader pipe within the
walls of any building becomes defective, such water leader shall
be replaced with one which conforms to the provisions of this
chapter.
SEC. 1408. RAINWATER DRAINAGE PIPING MATERIALS
All underground roof and area rainwater drainage piping with-
in the walls of a building shall be cast iron pipe and fittings,
and all such piping above ground shall be cast iron pipe and fit-
tings, galvanized wrought iron pipe with approved drainage fit-
tings, galvanized steel pipe with approved drainage fittings, or
copper DWV pipe with approved drainage fittings.

SEC. 1501. DISPOSAL OF WASTE WATER
Swimming pool waste water shall be disposed of as hereinafter
set forth in this chapter and the type of disposal proposed shall
be approved by the Administrative Authority prior to the commence-
ment of the work.
SEC. 1502. DISPOSAL OF WASTE WATER-DISCHARGE INTO STORM SEWER
Backwash water shall not be permitted to discharge into a
storm sewer unless the discharge end of the sewer ends in a water
course that is flushed by tidal action or there is a continuous
flow of water in the stream during all the year. Approval should
be in ~riting from the local health officer if waste water is per-
mitred to a storm sewer.
SEC. 1503. DISPOSAL OF WASTE WATER-IRRIGATION
Where space and conditions are such that no hazard nuisance
or unsanitary condition is evidenced, swi~mmlng pool waste water
may be used for irrigation by surface or sub-surface spreading.
Waste water disposal from public or semipublic pools shall be sub-
j'ect to the requirements of Title 17 of the State Administrative
Code.

SEC. 1504. DISPOSAL OF WASTE WATER-DRY WELLS
Waste discharge into dry wells shall be approved by the
Regional Water Pollution ControlBoards of Local Health Department.
SEC. 1505. DISPOSAL OF WASTE WATER,NO DIRECT CONNECTION WITH POOL
No direct connection shall be made between any storm drain
sewer drainage system, dry well or subsoil irrigation line and any
line connected to a swimming pool.
SEC. 1506. FILTERS-INSTALLATION
Waste water from any filter, scum gutter, overflow, pool
emptying line or similar apparatus, shall discharge into an ap-
proved type receptor. The flood rim of each receptor shall be at
least six (6) inches above the flood level of the adjacent ground.
SEC. 1507. FILTERS-CONNECTION TO DRAINAGE SYSTEM
Each such receptor, when connected to any part of a drainage
system, shall be properly trapped and vented as provided for in
the installation requirement of this Code.
SEC. 1508. DRAIN-PROTECTION FROM BACKFLOW
Except as provided in SEC. 1509, the discharge outlet terminal
from any pool or filter shall be protected from backflow by an
air ~ap at least six (6) inches above the flood rim of the re-
ceptor.
SEC. 1509. DRAIN-LO~ATION
No scum gutter drain, overflow drain, backwash discharge
drain, or pool emptying line shall enter any receptor below the

rim unless the pool piping at its deepest point, the bottom of
the filters, and the bottom of the scum gutter drain trough or
overflow inlets are at least sic (6) inches above the overflow
rim of the receptor.
SEC. 1510. SWIMMING POOLS-CONSTRUCTION
Swt-~-ing pools shall' have the bottom and inner sides con-
structed of smooth nonabsorbent materials and shall be so con-
structed as to be properly drained through one or more metal
stated openinss. No plastic liners may be used in public or
semipublic pools. All such drains shall have a sate valve in-
stalled therein, located in an accessible place, or masonry pit
outside the walls of the pool.
SEC. 1511. SWIMMING POOLS-POTABLE WATER SUPPLY
The potable water supply to any swimming pool shall be in-
stalled as required in the installation requirements of Chapter
10 of this Code.
SEC. 1512. SWIMMING POOLS-HEATING EQUIPMENT
Swi--,Eng pool water heating equipment shall conform to the
desisn, construction and installation requirements set forth in
the installation requirements of this Code for domestic water
heaters.
NOTE: The foresoing applies only to outdoor swi~.lnS bath-
ing or wadin§ pools. Plans and specifications for all indoor
installations shall be submitted to the Administrative Authority
for approval prior to the commencement of any work and all piping
equipment and construction shall be equal to the types prescribed
in the installation requirements of this Code for indoor work.

SECTION III. LEGISLATIVE AUTIiORITY NOT GHANTED
The provisions of this Ordinance are not intended to and
do not grant any legislative authority to the Administrative
Departments and Assistants or Departments having jurisdiction,
and any grant of discretion or authority to them contained here-
in shall be construed as limitinghis powers to the determination
of facts as to whether or not the rules laid down in this Ordin-
ance have been complied with.
SECTION IV. VALIDITY OF ORDINANCE
I~ any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of
this Ordinance or any portion which incorporates the Western Plumb-
ing Officials Uniform Plumbing Code into this Ordinance, or said
incorporated part of the Western Plumbing OffiCials Uniform Pl%~mb-
ing Code into this Ordinance is for any reason held to be uncon-
stitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portion of this Ordinance or any portion which incorpor-
ates the Weste=n Plumbing Officials Uniform Plumbing Code into
this Ordinance, or said pa~ts of the Western Plumbing Officials
Uniform Plumbing Code incorporated into this Ordinance. The City
Council of the City of South San Francisco hereby declares it
would have passed this Ordinance or any portion which incorporates
the Western Plumbing Officials Uniform Plumbing Code into this
Ordinance, or said parts of the Western Plumbing Officials Uniform

Plumbing Code incorporated into this Ordinance, and each section,
subsection, clause or phrase' thereof, irrespective of the fact
that any one or more sections, subsections, clauses or phrases
are declared unconstitutional.
SECTION V. REPEAL OF EXISTING ORDINANCES
The following Ordinances are hereby repealed:
Ordinance No.188, passed'the 25th day of May, 1936
Ordinance No.319, passed the 4th day of June, 1951
Ordinance No.389, passed the 19th day of March, 1956
Ordinance No.508, passed the 2Oth day of July, 1964
SECTION VI. EFFECTIVE DATE AND PUBLICATION
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (30)
days after the date of final passage and approval. The City Clerk
shall Certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause same to
be published in the "Enterprise-Journal", a newspaper of general
circulation published in the City of South San Francisco, as re-
quired by law.
