NEW BUSINESS Discussion and Motion to Cancel the Regular Meeting of December 28, 2021 A discussion and motion to approve the cancellation of the regular meeting on December 28, 2021 was made, seconded and approved by the Library Board of Trustees. Library Department Budget Narrative FY 2021-22 The Library Board of Trustees was presentedthe Library Department Budget Narrative for Fiscal Year 2021 – 2022. Lists of accomplishments for FY 2020-21 and objectives for FY 2021- 22 werereviewed, as well as the budget overview including the Library position listing and South San Francisco Public Library Board of TrusteesPage 2 MeetingMinutes – October 26, 2021 Operating Expenditures for FY 2021-22. The Library budget has a decrease of $66,208 in book and A/V and a decrease of over $20,000 in digital resourcesin addition to other decreases instituted last fiscal year. Good news - the “frozen” positions ca now be filled per the City Manager and staff is currently recruiting for a f/t Librarian I/II.
