AN ORDINANCE REQUIRING OATH OF OFFICE
FOR OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAi~ FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. OATH REQUIRED. Each City officer or employee, prior to
entering upon the duties of the office or employment, shall take and file
with the City Clerk a Constitutional oath of office as set forth in Article
XX, Section 3, of the Constitution of the State of California.
SECTION II. REPEAL OF ORDINANCE 302. Ordinance 302, adopted September 5,
1950, entitled "An Ordinance Requiring All Persons Holding or Occupying
Appointive Offices or Positions in the Service of the City of South San
Francisco To Take and Subscribe To a Loyalty Oath," is hereby repealed.
