AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCES OF THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO NUMBERED 17,
106, 142, !77, 208~ 307, 327 AND 362.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. ORDINANCES REPEALED. The following Ordinances are hereby
repealed:
1.1 Ordinance No. 17, adopted the 1st day of March, 1909, entitled
"An Ordinance Providing Regulations to Prevent the Spread of Disease within
the Limits of the City of South San Francisco, and Fixing the Penalty for
Violation Thereof."
1.2 Ordinance No. 106, adopted the 6th day of July, 1920, entitled
"An Ordinance Prohibiting the Sale of Guns, Pistols, Revolvers and Other
Firearms and Air-Guns in the City of South San Francisco."
1.3 Ordinance No. 142, adopted the 17th day of January, 1927, entitled
"Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco Requiring Drivers of All
Vehicles to Stop Such Vehicles at Certain Street Intersections in the City
of South San Francisco."
1.4 Ordinance No. 177, adopted the 16th day of January, 1935, entitled
"An Ordinance Creating the Office of Tax Collector and Defining His Duties."
1.5 Ordinance No. 208, adopted the 22nd day of July, 1940, entitled
"An Ordinance Creating the Offices of Captain of Police, Lieutenant of Police,
and Sergeant of Police in the City of South San Francisco and Prescribing the
Duties of Each of Such Officers."
1.6 Ordinance No. 307, adopted the 26th day of December, 1950, entitled
"An Ordinance Creating the Office of Deputy City Treasurer of the City of
South San Francisco."

1.7 Ordinance No. 327, adopted the loth day of March, 1952, entitled
"An Ordinance Fixing the Salary of the Treasurer of the City of South San
Francisco."
1.8 Ordinance No. 362, adopted the 18th day of April, 1955, entitled
"An Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco Establishing the Position
of Public Works Inspector as One in the Classified or Civil Service System."
SECTION 2. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall be
published once in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of general circula-
tion in the City of South San Francisco, as required by law, and shall become
effective thirty (30) days from and after its adoption.
