HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 70-2006 RESOLUTION NO. 70-2006 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDS PROVIDED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $16,546 TO PROMOTE LITTER PREVENTION THROUGH A COMMUNITY OUTREACH WHEREAS, staff recomlllends the acceptance of grant funds frOlll the DepmiIllent of Conservation in the amount of $16,546 to promote litter prevention through cOlllIllunity outreach; and WHEREAS, the grant funds will be available to the Community Preservation Task Force for implementing the litter prevention program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the acceptance of funds provided by the Department of Conservation in the amount of $16,546 for litter prevention through a community outreach progrmll. * * * * * I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular Illeeting held on the 13th day of September 2006 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmelllbers Mark N. Addiego, Pedro Gonzalez and Karyl Matsumoto, Vice Mayor Richard A. Garbarino and Mayor Joseph A.
