CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLU1'ION APPROVING VARIOUS BUDGEI'
AC1'IONS 1'I-IA'T ALLOW S1'AFF 1'0 CLOSE T'I-IE
BC)OKB FC)R FISCAL YEAR 2005-06
WHEREAS, staff recon1n1ends authorizing various budget changes as shown In
Exhibit A attached to this Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby approves various budget actions shown in Exhibit A
that allow staff to close books for the 2005-06 fiscal year. Taking these actions will result in
a General FundUndesignated Reserve of approxin1ately $5.9 Inillion as of June 30, 2006.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular n1eeting held on the 27th
day of Septelnber 2006 by the following vote:

Budget Amendment Items:
General Fund:
1. Increase Fire Depmin1ent budget by $281,000
2. Increase Police Departn1ent budget by $101,000
3. Authorize transfers fron1 the General Fund to the Self Insurance Fund of $450,000
4. Confin11 the final mnended budget for General Fund revenues and expenditures, as
shown in the An1ended Budget column of Exhibit A-I.
Capitall1nprovement Funds:
1. Appropriate an additional $250,000 to the Oyster Point Flyover/Hookrmnps Capital
Proj ect.
2. Authorize repayInent of $3.0 Inillion of outstanding loan froln to the San Mateo
County Transpoliation Authority. Loan payI11ent to be authorized froln the 2006
Redevelopn1ent Agency Bond Proceeds, with an advance to be set up on the City's
books between the Redeveloplnent Funds and the Oyster Point Developer Fee fund to
reflect this loan payITIent.
