AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.66.050 OF THE
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE AND SECTION
4.44 OF ORDINANCE NO. 353, ENTITLED "ZONING
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO"
AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCES 518, 546 AND 894
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
SECTION 20.66.050 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL
CODE AND SECTION 4.44 OF ORDINANCE 353 AS AMENDED BY
ORDINANCE NO'S 518,. 546 AND 894 AMENDED
Section 20.66.050 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code and Section
4.44 of Ordinance No. 353, as amended by Ordinance No's. 518, 546 and 894,
are hereby amended to read as follows:
"Uses permited in P-C-M districts subject to first procuring a use
permit in each case and subject to the provisions of Sections
20.66.020, 20.66.030 and 20.66.040 are:
A. Wholesale sales and storage within a building;
B. Light manufacturing and fabrication excluding machine shops, wood-
working shops, and similar uses;
C. Research laboratories;
D. Mini-storage warehouses;
E. Bakeries;
F. All uses contained in Section 20.66.045 which are located within
300 feet of a residential zone.
The uses shall be free of nuisance factors, such as objectionable
sights, sounds and smells."
SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY.
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance
is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such decision shall
not affect the validity or constitutionality of the remaining portions of this
ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted this

ordinance and each section, subsection, sentence, clause or phrase hereof,
irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences,
clauses or phrases be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
This ordinance shall be published once in the "Enterprise-Journal,"
a newspaper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as re-
quired by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after its
adoption.

at an adj. reqular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
