Please note that due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Library Board of Trustees Meeting will be conducted
by teleconference only pursuant to the provisions of the -25-20 and N-
29-20 issued on March 17, 2020 allowing for deviation of teleconference rules required by the Brown Act
and pursuant to the order of the Health Officer of San Mateo County dated March 31, 2020.
You are invited to offer your suggestions. In order that you may know our method of conducting Library
business, we will proceed as follows:
The regular meetings of the Library Board of Trustees are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at
6:00 P.M.

Library Strategic Plan Update
Library Director, Valerie Sommer, and Parks & Recreation Director, Greg Mediati, have discussed
the option of doing a joint strategic plan. The goal is to get the most we can from the new building
and providing the best services to the community. A consultant may be hired to help prepare the
strategic plan. Holdinga jointcommission meeting has been suggested.

Manager for the New Main Library Discovery Center and responsible for overseeing and planning operations and programs, hiring, training and supervising staff, grant writing, developing
