HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 03-2007 RESOLUTION NO. 03-2007 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF 4-WAY STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTION OF COMMERCIAL AVENUE AND EUCALYPTUS AVENUE WHEREAS, the Traffic Advisory COlnlnittee (T AC) received a request for the installation of a 4-way stop sign at the intersection of Comlnercial Avenue and Eucalyptus Avenue in December 2006; and WHEREAS, T AC reviewed the intersection and concluded that stop signs should be installed on Eucalyptus Avenue in order to clarify the right-of-way assignlnent; and WHEREAS, no additional funding would be necessary to install the stop signs at this location, stop signs and poles are in stock with the Street Maintenance Division, so that no additional budget allocations are required. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco hereby authorizes the installation of a 4-way stop sign at the intersection of Comlnercial Avenue and Eucalyptus Avenue. * * * * * I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 24th day of January 2007 by the following vote: AYES: Councihnembers Mark N. Addiego, Joseph A. Femekes and Karyl Matsulnoto, Vice Mavor Pedro Gonzalez and Mayor Richard A. Garbarino NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: None ATTEST:
