AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2.80 OF THE SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE AND ORDINANCE NO. 827 EN-
TITLED "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE FAIR POLITICAL
PRACTICES COMMISSION'S MODEL CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE"
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. APPENDIX "A" AMENDED.
Appendix "A," which is incorporated by reference in Chapter 2.80 of the
South San Francisco Municipal Code and in Ordinance No. 827, is hereby amended
so that the "Disclosure Category" referring to the City Attorney (Item 4.1
therein) shall read: "(See Note No. 1)."
SECTION 2. SECTION 2.80.020 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE AND SECTION 2 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 827 AMENDED
Section 2.80.020 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code and Section 2 of
Ordinance No. 827 are hereby amended so that the third phrase therein shall
read, in part, as follows:
"... except City Council members, Planning Commissioners, the City Manager
and the City Attorney, . . ."
SECTION 3. SECTION 2.80.030 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE AND SECTION 3 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 827 AMENDED
Section 2.80.030 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code and Section 3 of
Ordinance No. 827 are hereby amended to read as follows:
"The members of the City Council, Planning Commission, the City Manager
and the City Attorney shall file Conflict of Interest Statements in
accordance with the Political Refom Act, Government Code Section 81000,
et. seq.
SECTION 4. PUBLICATION AND EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Ordinance shall be published once, with the names of those City Council
members voting for or against the Ordinance, in the Enterprise-Journal, a news-
paper of general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as required by
law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after its adoption.
Introduced this 22nd day of January , 1986.
Passed and adopted as an Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 12th
day of February , 1985 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Mark N. Addiego, John "Jack" Drago, Richard A. Haffey;
and Roberta Cerri Teglia
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember Gus Nicolopulos
