I know it is above and beyond for the taxpayers to be involved with expenditures of their money but anything is worth a try. In addition, I'm curious will any of the negotiators be planning on any trips with the sellers for some future consideration? How about creating an internship for their kids? I heard that negotiations can be very fluid and in some cases a buyer could realize a $450,000 discount should they be persuasive. It only follows that the City could also be persuaded to overpay for a property for some reason that uninformed taxpayers wouldn't understand. Maybe you should round up some departed city officials to help with negotiations as I believe they are well versed in creative buying and selling. In fact, it is just as well that you hide the negotiations as it is certainly above the residents' pay grade, but certainly not above yours. What a treat to see the schedule of salaries. Anyway, forget I asked as it wasn't for me, it was for the San Mateo County District Attorney. They love this kind of stuff. Have fun behind those closed doors. 6 City of South San Francisco Legislation Text P.O.
