AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SOUTH
SAN FRANCISCO REZONING A 10,164 SQUARE FOOT
PARCEL ON WESTBOROUGH BOULEVARD FROM R-1-E-P
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT PLANNED
UNIT DEVELOPMENT TO R-1-F SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT.
SECTION 1.
Findinqs.
a) The subject property is a vacant 10,164 square foot
parcel located on the westerly side of Oakmont Drive approximately
165 feet south of Westborough Boulevard.
b) The site is physically suitable
development intensity.

c) A Negative Declaration filed in conjunction with the
subject proposal determined that although the presence of an
earthquake fault could have a significant effect on the project,
there will be no significant effect in this case because the
mitigation measures described in the February 16, 1994 letter from
William Cotton and Associates, Geological Consultants, have been
added to the project.
d) The Rezoning will not be adverse to the public health,
safety or general welfare of the community, nor detrimental to
surrounding properties or improvements.
e) The proposed Rezoning is consistent with the General Plan
Land Use designation for this property and the policies and codes
in the General Plan.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 2.
Rezoning.
The parcel described in Exhibit "A" and identified as a vacant
10,164 square foot parcel on the westerly side of Oakmont Drive
approximately 165 feet south of Westborough Boulevard is hereby
rezoned from R-1-E-P to R-i-F, Single Family Residential.
SECTION 3.
Severabilit¥.
In the event any section or portion of this ordinance shall be
determined invalid or unconstitutional, such section or portion
shall be deemed severable and all other sections or portions hereof
shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION 3. Publication and Effective Date.
This ordinance shall be published once, with the names of
those City Councilmembers voting for or against it, for at least
fifteen (15) days, in the Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper of
general circulation in the City of South San Francisco, as required
by law, and shall become effective thirty (30) days from and after
its adoption.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco, held the 25th day of
May , 1994.
Adopted as an Ordinance of the City of South San Francisco at
a re§u]ar meeting of the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, held the 8th day of June , 1994, by the
following vote:

Councilmembers Jack Draqo, John R. Penna, Roberta Cerri
Teqlia and Joseph A. Fernekes
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT:
Councilmember R6bert Yee
