ADDRESS 110 Indio Drive
PROJECT NUMBER P24-0029: DR24-0004
PROJECT NAME 2nd Story Addition
(Case Planner: Victoria Kim)
DESCRIPTION Design Review for a 2nd story addition to an existing single
family dwelling unit at 110 Indio Drive in the Low Density
Residential (RL-8) Zoning District in accordance with Title 20
of the South San Francisco Municipal Code and determination
that the project is categorically exempt from CEQA.
The Board had the following comments:
1. The Board liked the design concept.
2. The Board recommends extending the cedar element on the front elevation to
help break up the blank wall between the large window on the second floor
and the outdoor deck. This will help with the unbalanced appearance.
3. Consider adding the cedar wood element around the garage doors to help
articulate the front elevation.
4. Consider adding solar panels to the project.
5. The proposed and existing windows should all match with the same type of
coloring and trim and energy efficient windows are recommended.
6. Add a street tree in the front yard to help scale the 2nd story addition.
Recommend Approval with Conditions.
4. Miscellaneous - none
