A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ORDERING VACATION OF PORTION
OF DELLBROOK AVENUE
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, Cal~fornia, and this Council
order and determine that
1. The City Council did on the
1963, adopt its Resolution No. 3779
does hereby find,
16th day of Sevtembe~
of Intention to vacate
a portion of Dellbrook Avenue more particularly hereinafter
described.
2. Said Resolution recited t~at proceedings were
undertaken pursuant to the Street Vacation Act of 1941.
3. Said Resolution of Intention was duly published
as required by law, and notices of its passage entitled
"NOTICE OF PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF DELLBROOK AVENUE
SUNSHINE GARDENS SUB-DIVISION" were fully posted in the
time, manner and form provided by law, all as appear from
the affidavit of publication and posting on file in the office
of the City Clerk of said City.
4. Monday, the 21st day of October , 1963 ,
at the hour of 8 P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall,
Grand and Maple Avenues, South San Francisco, California,
were fixed in said Resolution of Intention as the time and place
when and where any and all persons interested in, or having
any objections to, said proposed vacation, may appear before
said Council and be heard.
5. The portion of Dellbrook Avenue is described as
follows:
BEGINNING At a point on the southwesterly
line of Crestwood Drive, at its intersection with
the most southerly terminus of that certain curve
having a radius of 15 feet, a central angle of 90°
00', an arc distance of 23.56 feet, said curve
forming a portion of the southerly boundary line
of Dellbrook Avenue connecting with Crestwood Drive,
as said Crestwood Drive and Dellbrook Avenue are
shown on that certain map entitled, "SUNSHINE GARDENS,"
Sub-division No. 3, South San Francisco, San Mateo
County, California, filed for record on March 25,
1953, in Book 36 of Maps, at Pages 37 and 38 in the
Office of the Recorder of the County of San Mateo,
State of California; thence from said point of be-
ginning northwesterly, westerly, and southwesterly
on an arc of a curve to the left, tangent to said
southwesterly line of Crestwood D~ive with a radius
of 15 feet, a central angle of 90 00', an arc
distance of 23.56 feet; thence North 460 44' 19"
West along the southwesterly line of Dellbrook
Avenue 56 feet to a point; thence northeasterly,
northerly, and northwesterly on an arc of a curve
to the left, the center of which bears North 46° 44'
19" West 15 feet from the last mentioned pgint with
a radius of 15 feet, a central angle of 90u 00', an
arc distance of 23.56 feet to the southwesterly line
of Crestwood Drive; thence South 46° 44' 19" East
86.00 feet to the point of beginning.
6. No objections of any kind or character have been, or
were, made or filed, against said proposed vacation.
7. It is to the interest and convenience of the City
of South San Francisco that said portion of Dellbrook Avenue
be, and hereby is, vacated.
8. The City Clerk of said City shall cause a certi-
fled copy of this Resolution and order, attested under the
seal of said City, to be recorded in the office of the County
Recorder of the County of San Mateo.
