A RESOLUTION APPROVING LOCATION OF CHESTNUT AVENUE
EXTENSION, CHESTNUT AVENUE, HILLSIDE BOULEVARD, AND
RANDOLPH AVENUE WITHIN THE INCORPORATED LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, that
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of San
Mateo, State of California, has heretofore approved the desig-
nation of the Chestnut Avenue Extension, Chestnut Avenue,
Hillside Boulevard, and Randolph Avenue to Bayshore Freeway,
State Highway Route 68, as an addition to the Federal Aid
Secondary System eligible for Federal Aid in the County of
San Mateo, State of California; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that this City
Council approve the location of that portion of Chestnut Avenue
Extension, Chestnut Avenue, Hillside Boulevard, and Randolph
Avenue situate within the incorporated limits of the City of
South San Francisco:
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY DETERMINED AND ORDERED
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That this City Council shall, and does hereby,
approve the location within the city limits of the City of
South San Francisco of that portion of Chestnut Avenue Exten-
sion approximately 0.05 of a mile westerly from E1 Camino
Real, State Highway Route 2; Chestnut Avenue from E1 Camino
Real, State Highway Route 2, easterly 0.92 of a mile along the
existing road; Hillside Boulevard northeasterly from Chestnut
Avenue 0.83 of a mile along the existing road to Randolph Avenue;
and Randolph Avenue easterly from Hillside Boulevard 0.86
of a mile along the general alignment and extension of the
existing Randolph Avenue to Bayshore Freeway, State Highway
Route 68.

2. That the Clerk of this City Council shall be, and
he is hereby, authorized and directed to send a certified
copy of this resolution to the Department of Public Works,
Division ~of Highways of the State of California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 16th day of December
1963 , by the following vote:
