A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO DECLARING THAT A MAJOR-
ITY PROTEST HAS NOT BEEN MADE IN THE "DEVINCENZI
TERRITORY~' ANNEXATION
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that,
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of October, 1963, said Coun-
cil in its Resolution No.3796 entitled "RESOLUTION DECLAR-
ING THAT PROCEEDINGS HAVE BEEN INITIATED BY THE COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO TO ANNEX TO SAID CITY
CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIG-
NATED 'DEVINCENZI TERRITORY' AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE PRO-
POSED ANNEXATION" declared that proceedings have been initi-
ated by the Council to annex said uninhabited territory to
the City of South San Francisco and fixed the time and
place for protest in accordance with the Government Code
of the State of California, said time and place being 8
o'clock p.m., December 2, 1963, in the Council Chambers of
City Hall, Grand and Maple Avenues, South San Francisco,
California, and further written notice of such proposed
annexation was mailed and given to all other parties as re-
quired by Section 35311 (a), (b) not less than twenty days
prior to said public hearing, all as shown by affidavits
on file in the office of the City Clerk, and,
WHEREAS, said matter came on regularly for hearing at
the time fixed in said Resolution, and,
WHEREAS, no written protests were received and all per-
sons desiring to be heard were fully heard.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED as follows:
That the City Council of the City of South San Fran-
cisco does declare that no majority protest against the
annexation entitled ~'Devincenzi Territory~ has been made
by owners of property within the territory proposed to
be annexed, which territory is more fully described in
Exhibit ~'A" attached hereto and by this reference made a
part hereof.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 16th day of December
19 6__3, by the following vote:

DEVINCENZI TERRITORY ANNEXATION

the City of South San Francisco on September 12, 1950, said point
of besinning being that point where the division fence line bet-
ween the Land of Devincenzi and that of Henry Niller, now known as
the Spring Valley Lands, intersects the Southwesterly side of
Mission Road (originally the main Cour~t:.y' Road leading from San
Francisco toileS'an Jose), said division fence line beingi~he':pr~percy
line as described in that Devincenzi Deed recorded in B~k 195 of
Deeds at page/~r244 on January 25, 1911 in the Official ~cords of
