CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING $44,537 IN GRANT FUNDING
FROM THE SAN MATEO COUNTY HEALTH SERVICES
AGENCY AND $90,000 IN GRANT FUNDING FROM THE
PARTNERSHIP FOR THE PUBLIC'S HEALTH FOR THE
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP'S
COMMUNITY HEALTH INITIATIVE AND AMENDING THE
2001/2002 OPERATING BUDGET (02-5)
WHEREAS, staff recommends the acceptance of $134,537 in grant funding to
support the South San Francisco Community Partnership's Community Health Initiative.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the acceptance of $44,537 in grant
funding from the San Mateo County Health Services Agency and $90,000 in grant funding
from the Partnership for the Public's Health for the South San Francisco Community
Partnership's Community Health Initiative and amends the 2001/2002 Operating Budget (02-
5) by adding $134,537 to the Library budget for fiscal year 2001-2002.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the l0th
day of October, 2001 by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karyl Matsumoto and John R. Penna,
Mayor Pro Tem Eugene R. Mullin and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
NOES: None.
